So, let's look at the VoicePlay lineups here. In the first 3 songs, we have the same lineup, which is the lineup they had when they were on the Sing-Off: Eli, their tenor (short, bald, and played the driver in the "Road Trip" video); Earl, their high tenor (big guy with great facial expressions and sat in the back row [middle] in the Road Trip video); Tony, their baritone (played the Phantom in the Phantom of the Opera video and the person riding shotgun in the Road Trip video); Layne, their beatboxer (as you can see, dude's got bars, too; he also hilariously sang "Royals" in the Road Trip video 🤣🤣🤣); and, of course, we have Geoff, their bass extraordinaire (yes, he had the short hair in the first half of this playlist and the Road Trip video 🤣🤣🤣). In the Moana medley, the lineup is the same, except Tony left the group. Now Tony is still involved in the group, just in a support role through his production company, Pattycake Productions. In the Little Mermaid medley, we get the addition of Tony's replacement, J None, the group's new baritone. By this time, Earl (high tenor) had also left the group. Also, Rachel is pregnant in this video! In the Greatest Showman medley, J None has left the group to become a singer for the US Navy. He's replaced by Cesar, a baritenor. And yes, the Greatest Showman is a movie musical and it's amazing! It's actually the movie I've seen in theaters the most. This is the current lineup for VoicePlay (minus Rachel of course). You'll definitely be seeing more from VoicePlay in the future. They love to collaborate with other fantastic singers/musicians and are the acapella group that does so the most! Having said that, they sound great whether they have a guest vocalist singing with them or not! VoicePlay's home base is in Florida and some of them have worked at Disney World as singers and/or castmates, which is where they get their theatrical flair from. Anyways, I've talked your ear off about VP enough for tonight 🤣🤣🤣
