Question: "Does C have a pet? Would they just kill their pet??? I read on Tumblr about how Mrs. V wasn't on board with Ruby getting one. It made me wonder about C."

Answer:

Eventually, we'll learn how R came to have Nox as a friend, but there is more backstory to it that's been hinted at in Book One/Book Two. Ms. Verner had her reasons, not that we're going to give her much credit when Nox is a little baby. 😽 Anyway, I just wanted to mention that! He's important to R overall.

No, lbr, C is more likely to kill a person over an animal just on sheer merit. 😌
