The feeling is hard to describe, but here's a GIF:

[Alternate Text: A GIF of the final puzzle piece being slotted into place in a large puzzle that seems to be a metallic rainbow color gradient. It completed everything in one single action.]

It isn't so much completeness that I'm trying to convey as it is the satisfaction.

Cannot wait to see how Reese teases my Mc AGAIN after that one choice 🤣🤌🏼

I’ve been waiting to see how the candle would come back up 😭 I’m nervous

I love how you include these details in this series!!!! Can't wait to see how they play out! >:3

The callbacks are always fun. I also wanna physically experience the gif. Puzzles

I love callbacks. It's such specific attention to detail that REALLY makes your choices matter and it's awesome. I love the idea of callbacks because your actions DO have consequences and it makes me want to replay again and again to see if I missed anything. Also, I am staring at that candle part and sweating because of what Zarina did. One Fear.png

I have so much fun with R's quips and flirty banter, but I still remember their exact line about the MC in this specific Book Two variation. I'm like !!! waiting for you to read it. 😻 (Also, for your MC to meet the kitty.)

Oof, you should be, but I also love that you've been waiting for it to come back up! 😌 The ??? is particularly brutal with this choice.

Thank you so much, EJ! 🥰 I love including them, though that only grows knowing you're eager to see them play out.

Same! I searched 'satisfaction' on GIPHY to try and find the right vibe for the post. The other contender was a GIF of doughnuts going through a glaze enrober to be perfectly coated, but I went with this one instead. XD Thank you for finding the callbacks fun; there are oodles in Book Two. 🌲💚

Oh, I'm psyched that this aspect tempts you to replay again and again. I do agree that it can speak to attention to detail along with placing them in ways readers might have an 'a-ha moment' when recognizing their choice changed the scene. 😁 (Rn, they are coming up very heavily in the nightmare section.) I have some theories about what Zarina might have done with the candle. I'll be intrigued to see if I'm right. 🕯

yeah, I’m pretty worried for my fernweh mcs 😭 ❤️‍🩹 pretty much everything comes back again. including that mask!! and the lid!!! I pay attention and take notes lmao. but the ??? should remember that MC has won before and can win again 🤨 (my rebellious MC speaking through me)

The masks are so important! 🎭 I feel very seen with the taking notes aspect since I'll jot things down too to make sure they come up later on in the book. It's a great way for you to catch hints. 👀 Your rebellious MC is right! The ??? will remember that resistance; I'm excited for the two of them to continue this war of attrition throughout the series.

Callbacks are going to be so amazing but I'm also experiencing OneFear in that I've played too many times with January and didn't save the majority of my playthroughs and I don't know what's in my actual saves. Ha aha haha ha ha? I guess it's going to be a surprise what I see down the line. I honestly have to make playthroughs with notes, like how I played Jam and S, or how much Jam resisted or how she treated Milton. Or if Jam and B almost kissed or not. Or if Jam and Mal kissed or not. Joshua though - he threw that candle in the TRASH because he does not want to be reminded of his grandfather. And he's neutral to Mal. And abandonment still hurts him. These things are set. Can't wait to see the consequences.
