Content

(EDIT: I have decided to let this post stay open to serve as a collection or 'ask box' throughout the month (or at least until it's closed out).  This will let me hoard them to better sprinkle them into our future Patreon content! 🐉 You all have been sending in great questions/prompts/requests.)

_ _ _

Hello Evergreen and Hickory Patrons! 🌲🍂

I hope you're doing well. 💚

From January's Content Schedule, you all will have read that I'm collecting a stockpile of questions to sprinkle in some spice, fluff, angst, insight, and more in addition to all of our other content.

I, along with the characters of TFS, will be answering your questions, though that could be just the start. Questions/comments might spur character exchanges, reference material reveals, little snippets, new insight, etc. I'm open to whatever you want to send in—from a question to a poignant quote to a truth/dare or 'Would You Rather' question to a reaction prompt, etc. Have fun!

This post is for both spicy 🔥 and general questions. 🌲

The same logistics and ideas for prompts apply, except this is also a call for more heated scenes, snippets, and questions you might have for the characters. Do be warned some of them might offer some sass with the spice, while others might surprise you. I'll answer what I can, given how many requests I get, along with balancing spoilers.

I'll use appropriate tags that fit the content. (Always feel free to ask me to tag or warn too!)

Let's get into the logistics:

-You may submit your requests from now until I decide to close it out. 😉

-There are a few ways to submit something. Please pick the one you're most comfortable with since I don't mind checking multiple sources, and your thoughts/questions are important:

  1. You can directly comment on this post. This is a way to prevent duplicate questions, and I will look at the amount of likes to see if some of you are interested in a particular topic.
  2. You can email it to me at: lacunafiction@gmail.com, if you would like a little more privacy and don't have access to Tumblr.
  3. You can submit questions to my tumblr: lacunafiction, if you prefer anonymity, just be sure to include this: #TFSPatreonMiniQ&A somewhere in what you send in. I receive asks throughout the day/week, so I'll want to distinguish yours from the other anons.

-Feel free to directly address me or the TFS characters, including those whom you might not think would talk back. Aiming comments at them might be fun along with questions. General questions work too. There isn't a right or wrong with what to send in; there's no specific format.

-If your question isn't selected this month, then there is always next time! I'll be saving them somewhere since I intend to add them into our content rotation for blips of added fun or long posts/mini writings. :D I might be unable to answer a question due to volume and/or spoilers.

Hopefully you're looking forward to these answers cropping up in our content!  🤯

I just want to know what Ms. Verners favorite joke is

B...just out of curiosity, no real reason...how long have you been wanting to kiss MC?

LJ

Ohhh glad I'm getting another chance at this question! Kinda spicy one for S: what is something small that the returning visitor might do (maybe while unaware of it even) that would totally shatter S's cool? As in, are there any little accidental everyday things S would go completely crazy for? (I dunno I just wanna see them trying to hold onto their calm demeanor and failing. 🤫) And another one for Mal while I'm at it: My dear beautiful child of chaos, do you need a hug? Bc I wanna know who hurt Mal but I also figure I won't get the answer as easily as that, so hug it is.

Alex

I’d like to know, what is everyone’s favourite memory in general? (If they have one) And maybe also how would they all handle having the Returning Visitor's abilities? Would they ignore, fear or embrace it?

What would make S squeeze that bag in the pantry even tighter??? Maybe the bag spills open. Whoops! Anyway this is me liking this one twice.

I have several questions to throw out haha. Please let me know if this isn't acceptable and I'll cut down to 1 question! :D Non-Spicy. 1) Are there specific scents all ROs prefer? Some people like the scent of mint, of vanilla, etc. Is there something specific that ROs enjoy? As in, what kind of cologne/perfume would they wear on themselves and would find attractive on MC? 2) How would ROs act to hearing MC show off their talents in letting their voice go from sweet and tender to something deeper and sultry? They have a very good handle on their voice. Do they like when MC uses a softer tone with them or a deeper tone with them? Do they call MC out (teasing or gently or comedically) if they notice MC uses a specific tone with the ROs to see if they can get them flustered (just teasingly flustered to then be smug and go 'oh, you like that? weakness found!')? Spicy. 1) I wondered about this for a bit, but R and Mal seem to be rather dominant partners. How would they handle a similarly assertive and daring MC? Would there be more tension between them or will they have to figure out how to co-exist with their similarly assertive nature? I'm curious about how the dynamic might play out in this case. 2) How would you rate all ROs in terms of who is more willing to try new things out with MC? As in, who is the boldest one and who is the shyest one in terms of sexual activity? Thank you!

I unfortunately left my notebook of questions elsewhere, so until I go retrieve it I had to think up a question. I think I am late to the party though, if I am then feel free to disregard my question and I’ll ask it again later. So here’s a question I am surprised I haven’t seen asked on tumblr (unless I missed it?) because I feel it’s a general a question that is asked a lot: The RO’s (please include Mal) general opinion on marriage and / or having children (whether it's through adoption, or having their own, etc)? (I would like to clarify that this isn’t a how would this work out with MC question, but more of a how has each individual RO always felt about it regardless of MC question. Is getting married and / or having a family something they always wanted? Never thought about it? Doesn’t mind either way? An absolute no? That sort of thing. Also feel free to treat them as separate topics, because it’s ok to want kids and not marriage AND vice versa.)

alex

Hm im not sure if the q&a is still open but i gotta shoot my shot. Not sure if its spoilery or not but my question is: What kind of person would the ROs had become if the MC didn't exist or had no impact in their lives? I know some would have become drastically different....

ckl

I thought of some questions if the askbox is still open. OK, one of them I saw on a different IF blog, so I didn't think it up myself. Also, maybe some of these will be addressed in the game, so I understand if they're not answered. How did the young Fernweh gang plus A view each other? If we're choosing the JR route, J and R's reactions when they first realized they had feelings for the other? (I'm excluding the MC because I feel like we will get to experience that ourselves.) Do the characters think of the past, present or future the most? edit - I hit enter by mistake. SPICY. If the MC blindfolded the ROs, what sensations would the ROs like? Hot/cold/soft or rough/tender touches or naughty biting? This one sounds familiar to me, so ignore if someone already asked a question similar.

Bobeah

For JR: when did J and R realize their potential feelings for the other? Did MC trigger those feelings and they’re going with the flow or did J/R already feel things before MC returned?

Bobeah

Another one lol that I don’t know if it’s been answered already: did each of the ROs crush on MC before the book started? Like did J/R/S crush on them during school or they never really thought about them until MC returned to town? If they did, when did they realize they had feelings for MC?
