So, Patreon recently reminded me that it's been 90 months, or about 7 1/2 years since I last change the price and ask me to update the tiers. As a result, I'm thinking of changing it to $6usd for the basic tier. What do you guys think?

I like to support the artists so I’m perfectly fine with the increase. As a fellow artist i can say we don’t get paid enough for the work we do

kuberson

Totally fine with me

I don't mind supporting you, but why is Patreon telling you you have to increase fees?

Chelsea

Would this affect current memberships that are paid yearly? Or just once the membership renews?

Its a free market. It'll tell you if its a good idea, once you try it. I think a price increase is justified though.

$6 for the value you provide is still on the VERY low end. $15 would be a red line for me - not because you wouldn't be worth more, but I don't earn more :D
