Seems people still prefer G8F. I did add the 8.1 as a separate preset though.

She has 4 outfits. Testing out a new way to showcase models with mutiple outfits.

Edit: 25 01 2021
The hair has some issues. Somehow, I have no idea how, the arm movement affects the hair. Given that the hair has no weightmap from the arm, I have no idea how that happen... I re-rigged the entire hair from scratch, so that should not happen this time.

Shinteo! you are the best!

thank you, i think 8.1 is better than 8.. because everyone will move to 8.1 sooner or later. like people forced to move from G3F to G8F , it will happen sooner or later. so its better upgrade from now to 8.1

I thought so too, since it happened when I delayed moving from G2 to G3, I delayed so long that not long after I finally made the move to G3, G8 came out, and I have to redo everything again.

The thing is, all morphs and such for G8 work fine with G8.1. However, anything made for 8.1 *doesn’t* work in 8. There’s not a ton of difference, however a lot of expression poses for 8 don’t work with 8.1, as one example. So as long as you’re only making morphs and not using the new 8.1 shaders, staying on base 8 gives us the most flexibility in using the morphs.

Well, for what it's worth, I just did a quick test of the updated Sarada. And I didn't notice the arm movements affecting the hair in any way.

how do you move the eyes ? doesn't work with pose control, and can't find it on the off set texture too for the G8F model.

Yeah, that seems to be the consensus. It's not too hard to make a G8.1F version, about extra 30min, so I might just do both version going forward.
