In this episode you do get a bit of a reveal as to what motivates Gus Fring to plot against the entire Salamanca clan, Hector in particular. The creators tease us by withholding information only to parcel out breadcrumbs along the way, it's so awesome! Fun fact: Giancarlo Esposito who plays Gus experienced a dry spell as an actor and was facing bankruptcy before given the chance to audition and win the role. I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job as Fring!
