Oasis of sketches (Patreon)

Dear Patreons,

Over the past month I’ve been working on a massive course. It has taken me much more time than I expected. But this project is an opportunity to sustain myself more durably in the coming months, and beyond. And that’s what this Patreon is also all about.

In my personal life too things have been changing quite a bit. My wife and I have decided to split up and remain friends and while all is going well, it does imply looking for a new place, etc… And while looking for an apartment, I found a small art studio in an old abbey with many artists working in different fields. It’s not a place to live, but it’s a place to create. I am currently renting it but I cannot move there yet because my car broke down and I’m waiting to hear on that.

With that said, I have been drawing.

Not polished digital illustrations, but raw stuff. Venting in between the countless hours of editing. And as I am doing that, I reconnect with my love for drawing and make new experiments with pastels, pencils and markers. Sketches of heads, mixing realism with stylization.
