Accessing Content & FAQ (Patreon)

This post explains my Tiers and how to access the content via my homepage.

TL:DR - Quick Access:

Go to my homepage

Click "Connect your Patreon" Button

Authorize Patreon login by clicking "Allow"

Access your content based on your Tier

If something is not working:

log out (Top menu on the homepage: User -> Logout)

do the steps 1-4 above again.

Alternate Access:

Go to my homepage

Click "Log in with Username/Password"

Enter your Email (you used on Patreon) and your password

If you do not have a password: You get your Password by clicking "Forgot Password?" on the Login Page. (A Password reset link will be sent to your E-Mail, click that link and set your Password. Note: Check your junk email folder.)

Access your content based on your Tier

If it's still not working (unusual!):

Write me a private message her on Patreon, or in the tech Channel on Discord and I'll try narrow down and fix the problem.

Please note that the Patreon Button seems to not be working on some devices (I suspect it's some phone/browser constellation). That is why the Alternate Access Method exists.

Hello, Hexxet here,

Welcome to my Patreon campaign, thank you for joining! This post is  supposed to answer questions about my Patreon campaign and give you an  overview of the content available with your membership.

All content is exclusively accessible via my homepage. In order to access :

Go to my homepage

Click "Connect your Patreon" Button

Authorize Patreon login by clicking "Allow"

Access your content based on your Tier

After that you can freely access all comics associated with your Tier/Support.

(If the button is not there then you are still connected from a previous session. If something does not work or you are unsure whether you pressed this button, you can "Log Out" via the homepage menu and re-navigate to the main page. The Button should then be there.)

PS: There seems to be a bug that occurs on some devices or browsers (mostly some phones I think) that leads to the Patreon Plugin Login not working. I would ask you to try a different browser/device if possible. If you can't get the Login to work let me know via message and I will set a homepage level by hand for you.

HR-PAIs and SubscribeStar Adult Access

HR-PAI stands for "Hyper Realistic" - PAI and Patreon rules state that this type of content must not be shared here. So I it is not. This is the reason why, even with the PAI Tier, the HR PAIs are locked to you. If you are interested in my HR-PAIs you will have to join me on SubscribeStar Adult - either as a combo Membership or switch over completely.

An SSA Membership should be about the same amount as the membership on Patreon and you do not need both. A SSA Savant Membership covers the same range of content as the PAI Patreon Tier except that it does include the HR-PAI access.

You can access the full* range of my content with either one of the following options:

SSA Comic Savant Tier

Patreon PAI Tier + SSA-Flag Tier

Patreon Connoisseur Tier + SSA PAI Enthusiast Tier

*Accessing older 3D comics still needs Archive access either obtained by staying a member until 130EUR total lifetime support is reached, or you need the Full Access Tier.

FAQ

I did the "Connect Your Patreon" Thingy but it's not working?

Have you tried logging out and then in again?

If it still does not work -> There seems to be a bug that occurs on some devices or browsers (mostly some phones I think) that leads to the Patreon Plugin Login not working. I would ask you to try a different browser/device if possible. If that is impossible or if you can't get the Login to work either way let me know via message and I will set a homepage level by hand for you.

Something's with my Access not working on the homepage - what to do?

Please try Logging out (On the homepage top menu > User > Log Out) and then reconnect by clicking the "Connect Your Patreon" Button on the main page (and then Allow). This can especially happen if you upgraded your Tier.

Why are the Tiers more expensive when I'm paying with Apple?

Apple charges a 30% fee on top of my Tiers/Patreon fees. It's probably convenient to use Patreon like that, but if you have a different means to pay on Patreon, you can save that fee.

Why is the "My Memberships" Section under User>Membership Account on the homepage empty?

This section is only used for SSA Members. Patreon Members are directly Accessing via the Patreon plugin, so this section stays empty intentional. (Unless you also have an SSA Membership)

Can I browse comics sorted by series on the homepage?

Yes, you can with the Overview Page!

How do you unlock the Member Content on the homepage?

Please read the article above (around the first screenshot), it explains how to use the Connect your Patreon Button to connect your Patreon to the homepage.

Will I be able to access comics that came out during my subscription period once the current month is over?

Sadly the Patreon Plugin is lacking in this department and this is not possible. You will only have access to the current chapters and ongoing series chapters. Previous series and comics are only accessible with a full access membership, a yearly Connoisseur/PAISupport Membership or an equal level of support in previous months.

When I try to access some comics I'm redirected to Custom Pledge Signup, even though I'm already a member.

If you downgraded or canceled your subscription and try to use an "Unlock with Patreon" button this might happen. Try using the "Connect with Patreon" Button on the Member's Page. If it still happens you might be trying to access an archived comic. Older comics are archived and can only be unlocked with life-time-support or the "Full Access" Tier. The Patreon Plugin is redirecting you to the custom pledge form because it does not know what to do. (See also If you think that you should be able to view the comics according to the above rules, then please contact me and I'll try to analyze the problem at hand.
