PLEASE CONTINUE TO WELCOME Chris Curry, aka Flop, the bassist on this track. I want to get into the lyrical meaning behind this thing but I also don't. I want you all to listen and think for yourselves. All I'll say is, I hope this pattern of witch hunts doesn't lead to an untimely death.

Lyrics:Chorus:

I hate it when you talk like thatLike everybody else is bad

Reciprocal the time the feel the

take the all around us

I hate it when it goes like that

I’m tryin not to get too madBelievable the rhyme the give the

ache somebody found us

Verse 1

What did he mean when he said that?

how do I read another call back?

here living with the lies, the reek

repeat until its all ya know

I’m not here to write songs about revenge

see another get beat on

can we push em to the

Edge callin’ for coffins

son of a gosh darn waste are these

empty calories

but ya gotta keep feeding

yeah ya gotta keep eating

ohintellect is receding

but tell me are they still breathing?

Verse 2

Open with auto-tuned riffs on an ooh

I stand surrounded by the people

shake hands, and knowing we are equal asking

hey my friend on the ground

in a hole, in a pit, in a bog down in the valley-o

can I help you conquer it?

And if I can get real here for a minute (wa oh)treating a human soul like it’s disposable

No, it’ll never sit right with me it’ll never sit right with me

but ya gotta keep feeding

yeah ya gotta keep eating

ohintellect is receding

but tell me are they still breathing?

I really love how you've fleshed it out, and as was saying before I feel having the instrumental afterwards does a massive service to the lyrics, especially given their importance in this case. I'll admit this has also been the first time I've listened with my actual headphone amp rather than my speakers to really get all the detail (my speakers are considerably higher end, but I guess it's still just a very different approach to soundstage), and I think (and I'll have my general issues to thank for this) I'd earlier been confusing autotune with voice filters/effects >.< I imagine my difficulties 100% are going to manifest as being mildly bipolar here, but it'd meant I'd been confusing both the autotune /and/ the voice filters as all being autotune when expressing concern about their removal previously. When ironically, in reality I now realise it had only been the voice filters that I'd been referring to, and had actually been preferring the more natural oohs in the middle 🫠 But again in any case, the song feels very good as fleshed out as it is, gives it a very pleasant flow and the way it builds at the end lends a whole load of power to the real, lucid intentions you have for it.

Turned out great. It was a pleasure getting to lay down bass
