Lyric video coming later this week! I'm happy with how things are progressing this month, and I'm happy with my productivity lately. The soundtrack for "The Fandom", a documentary that Fox Amoore and I composed the music for, is coming right along. Got a cover image and we're working on bonus tracks atm.

I wonder whether giving people more time to do their vocals would lead to greater participation...but that might not make a difference; I felt like you gave us a decent amount of time in this instance. Otherwise, I feel like the main hurdle may simply be tech: if people don't have a good way to record themselves, or don't feel that they do, then they won't do it. Alternately, at least one person said they had concerns about their voice, and while I mentioned that when you're part of a chorus your own voice isn't necessarily a big deal, it can still discourage people. There may also be some people who fully intended to record vocals only to discover, as I did, that it takes more time and focus than they expected, so they lost patience or ran out of time. I thought it would be a bit easier this time around than it was for the Bernie song, but it still took me multiple takes. One possibility: your voice is just high enough that when I try to record to it it's a little more difficult for me than is strictly comfortable. Maybe provide both higher and lower-pitched versions?

All that aside, the song sounds pretty great, and I'm thrilled that I was able to contribute to it. :) You've really found a bit of a folk groove lately, I must say.

Really beautiful song :) And the chorus works so well together, despite everyone recording individually? How much sweetening did it take to get that right? :)

Not sure what else to do to encourage participation! Maybe release a demo video showing some a straightforward, non-specialist way to do it (headphones in a laptop, singing into a phone) might help people see that it doesn't have to be a huge deal

i abaolutely love participating in your work like this, anything more we can do like this would be amazing. as for accessability? no idea...

the only struggle i had with actually making a submission was the fact my PC and Mic were all packed up during fumigation. had they been ready sooner i would have submitted sooner. damn termites!

Gah, I hate that I never keep up with Patreon. I'd have loved to have had a chance at being in this. Oh well, maybe next time.
