SO I have indeed been at work while also being at other work. FoxAmoore (patreon.com/FoxAmoore) helped me out with a commission for fellow patron: Beeton (hi Beeton).

The result is nearly 6 minutes long, and I'm quite proud of it.

Thank you again for your help, Fox, and Beeton for commissioning me/us ^^

Lyrics:

Carry You With Me

Bb/D - Eb

We watch the curtain rise, the orchestra kicks in

Bb/D - Eb

and every word they say we’re rapt in silence

Gb(dim) Gm Bb/F

the corners of my eyes are wet and

Eb Ebm F

everything outside can melt away

F Gm Bb/D Eb

I think of nothing but what’s on stage, every motion

F Gm   Eb

and all the songs hit me at once

F Gm Bb/D Eb

turn to the left and catch you eyes, blink, away emotion

F Gm

can’t help but smile for

Ab Eb

these are the moments that last

Cm Eb. . .|. . . .|

these are the moments that last

CHORUS:

Bb/Bb  Eb/Bb

Where? Where went the time?

   F/Bb  Bb/Bb

Are you listening? Are you pleased by what you see?

Gm   Cm

Long enough to give us the memory

Fsus    Bb/Bb

I carry it with me. I hold it in my heart

Bb/Bb   Eb/Bb  F/Bb

You’re never gone. I still see you

Bb/Bb   Gb(dim) Gm

I still hear you sing along. I’m strong enough

Gm Cm Fsus

to handle what meets me if I carry you with me

It isn’t easy and the last months they have strained

My ability to keep moving forward

all of us passing by to drop our

blessings on the ones we love the most

Not time enough to spend in one life, dedication

a thousand years would still be short

Sound of the cardinals on the wire, is a celebration

I’m lifted higher and

These are the moments that last (repeat)

Chorus

Beeton

It's appropriate that this song came out on this day. This is not just for my father but for anyone who's experienced a major loss. Thank you Pepper.

KrystaMckenzie

Take this however you will, but I could completely see this song being in an animated film like Quest for Camelot, or Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, etc. It has so much emotion in it. Really beautiful work you guys.
