EDIT: Deadline! Send me your tracks or forever hold your peace!

Above is the link for the various tracks mentioned in this post, and lyrics. You will need them in order to participate. If you have questions, ask them in the comments here so others might also find the answer to your question.

-----

It's time to sing! The Internationale is an anthem for solidarity among working people of all nations, and it's strangely hard to find choral versions in English. YOU could help me fix that! Here's how you do it:

Click the link above. You will find MANY tracks, but the important one is in the Rehearsal Tracks folder: The Internationale - Lead Vocals. Everyone MUST send in a take of the LEAD VOCALS track. Listen through, practice it a few times with the track until you don't have to think about it anymore. Timing is crucial, so please do your best to sing in rhythm. You will also find the lyrics in PDF format.

THEN. Listen to the track through HEADPHONES, and record yourself singing it. If you have software to make this process easier, great! If not, you can always sing into your cell phone's voice record app. If you do not use headphones, your microphone will pick up the backing track, rendering your take useless. Please use headphones and check your recording before sending it.

You will need the following:

-Headphones, and something to play the guide track from

-A recording device, e.g. a cellphone.

-The ability to export an audio file (48Khz, 24bit if you know what that means) and email it to me at PepperCoyote@gmail.com I recommend Drop Box for sending multiple, or larger files.

-Deadline is Nov 27th, 2022! The Sunday after Thanksgiving. I'm hoping this gives people plenty of time.

----------

Advanced singers will also see tracks labeled Harmony 1, 2, and 3. These labels are purely arbitrary, but if you feel comfortable singing harmony parts, I encourage you to send me an additional take singing a harmony part, or multiple harmony parts if you're REALLY bored.  If you have a higher voice, please sing these harmonies UP an octave. It'll make this choir sound HUGE.
