Chapter 15.2 Status Report (2) (Patreon)

This past week I’ve been working on the new artwork for the second part of the chapter. All the required illustrations are now finished and have been sent to the colorist. There’s also one extra scene I’d like to include, but that will depend on how the rest of development progresses.

As for the script, I’m currently writing the events and minigames surrounding the MMA tournament, and that section is almost complete. I’m confident that in another two or three weeks I’ll have everything ready to start assembling and playtesting the new content.

Not much else to say other than I'm rushing to have everything ready as soon as possible, and that I hope I'm doing a good job creating some exciting scenes. Hopefully you'll be able to give me your opinion soon!

I’m really looking forward to the MMA tournament. I can’t wait to step into the cage as Ian and crush the competition, especially after all the buildup around his training and confidence. At the same time, I’ve heard that there hasn’t been much faithful Ian and Lena content in the recent updates, and honestly, that worries me a little. I really hope the game isn’t moving away from the Ian and Lena focus that made so many of the earlier chapters special to me. Their faithful route has always been my favorite part of the game. I love their conversations, the quiet moments they spend together, and of course their intimate scenes. As Lena herself said, it was probably the best sex of her life. But even more important to me is the emotional bond between them and the way their dialogue shows how deeply they affect each other. Lines such as “I had learned a different way of being loved is possible,” “I wish I could stay in this limbo forever,” and Lena saying that Ian is the only person keeping her standing are genuinely beautiful. Those moments made their relationship feel realistic, vulnerable, and emotionally meaningful. I really hope we continue getting romantic dialogue of the same quality. I understand that the other paths may also be varied and very well written, but the corruption, cheating, and cuckold routes simply aren’t for me, so I won’t be playing those versions of Lena’s story. Ian’s adventures with the other women are still exciting to follow, especially the new characters, and after the recent Ivy scene I’m even more curious about where that relationship will go. Still, loyal Ian and faithful Lena will always be my favorite pairing. I truly hope they eventually receive the happiness and success they have earned together. It also seems that Lena’s path becomes considerably harder when she remains pure and faithful. Her opportunities are more limited, and reaching her goals appears much more difficult. Because of that, it would be especially satisfying to see her finally achieve the success she genuinely deserves without having to compromise herself. I would love to see Lena succeed in her music career, with Ian beside her supporting her while also pursuing his own goals. Watching them overcome their struggles, grow successful, and build a happy life together would be the most rewarding conclusion for their faithful path. Good luck with the remaining development. I’m excited to see the tournament and the climax of Ian’s part!

Honestly I really love that game. Can't wait for the next update. Thought would be cool if some little QoL : - in the phone : updating the budget menu based on the what really happen, sometime it does, and sometime it doesn't (like lena choosing to pay more stan for the rent) - in the phone : the relationship icons sometimes doesn't math what happen. Like I did the throuple with ian-holly-lena, with ian going out with holly then adding lena in it after ian broke up with lena. Thought Ian still have a broken heart symbol with lena, while lena still have a friend symbol with holly and a broken heart with ian. Same with the couple symbol (the double ring) would be nice to appear instead of a heart once the 2 partners made it official. - in the save menu would be cool if a personnalized save name is kept when loading a save even after restarting the game.

Amazing work on this game, truly. I'm compelled to say that Lena's cuck-teasing of Ian, with Wade proposed for a potential threesome and Perry slathering her in sunscreen, was a very, very nice touch. I REALLY hope you expand on this cuck path before you wrap up the game!! There is so much potential there, and I've been looking forward to Lena messing with Ian's friendships beyond Jeremy. Thanks for all of your work!

Doing the same path as u my friend ND all I can say is I really enjoyed their bond it feels real. Everything you stated is fax!. I added holly to the relationship cuz she so sweet nd innocent, but still the writing is really good and everything follows

I'm the exact opposite concerning the faithful route with Lena. My main problem with Ian-Lena relationship is that I can't help but feeling like the game force me to get on that route, which make me not really believe in their love, I hate "destined partner" scenario. Honestly the only 2 routes I did with lena as partner with Ian are the threesome one with holly (and choosed holly as Ian primary girlfriend) and the route where Lena cheat on Ian (thought this one is really bad and not interresting because of Jeremy, even with 0 friendship with Ian he still alert Ian who acknowledge Lena cheat on him. You can still choose to ignore it but it get pointless) My best route for Lena will always be Seymour =)

I understand your point, and of course I respect that different players connect with different routes. If Seymour’s path is the most interesting version of Lena’s story for you, that’s completely fair. Personally, though, I feel almost the exact opposite. Corruption and cheating routes simply aren’t enjoyable for me, especially when it comes to Lena. Seymour’s influence very clearly feels like corruption to me, and scenes such as the poses he makes her do in front of the mirror genuinely made me uncomfortable rather than excited. I also don’t see Seymour as a good person who truly cares about Lena. To me, he manipulates her ambitions and insecurities for his own benefit, and I don’t want to see Lena being used by someone like that just to advance her career. I can understand why the “destined partners” feeling between Ian and Lena might not appeal to everyone, but I personally never felt forced into their route. What made me love them was the emotional depth of their conversations, the way they support each other, and how their relationship can develop when both remain faithful. That’s why my favorite version of Lena will always be the one where she stays true to herself, succeeds without Seymour corrupting or exploiting her, and builds a loving and healthy relationship with Ian. But that’s simply my personal preference, just as the Seymour route is yours.

Yeah, I also started the trinity route on another save, and I agree, it looks really promising so far. It’s still very new, so the relationship hasn’t had enough time to develop as deeply as faithful Ian and Lena yet, but I’m definitely curious to see where it goes. Holly is so sweet, and the dynamic between all three of them has a lot of potential. :)

Getting all the required artwork finished sounds like a pretty satisfying box to finally tick. Now I'm curious about the MMA tournament section, especially with minigames being built around it instead of it just becoming another long dialogue sequence. Don't rush the extra scene just for the sake of squeezing it in, though. If it fits naturally, great; if not, I'd rather see it later than have the rest of the chapter delayed or compromised because of it. Chapter 15.2 sounds like it's getting very close to the fun part: putting everything together and seeing whether all those choices somehow ruin our lives again. 😄 Looking forward to it!

While providing Ian the choice to walk away following Lena's betrayal is the correct structural decision, the narrative fallout fails to deliver realistic emotional consequences. Even for a player accepting of her promiscuity, the total absence of genuine guilt or self-reflection after betraying someone she claims to love breaks character consistency. To break down why this specific path feels so disappointing: Hypocrisy & Unaddressed Trauma: Lena’s choice to cheat on Ian directly mirrors the exact betrayal she suffered at the hands of Mark. The narrative completely glosses over this monumental irony. Instead of being overwhelmed by the agonizing realization that she has become her own antithesis—no better than the man she despises—she exhibits no true self-hate or internal reckoning. Absence of Consequences: Rather than treating the betrayal with the emotional gravity, social fallout, or lasting psychological weight it demands, the writing frames it as a casual pivot toward an uninhibited lifestyle. It portrays her not just as broken-minded, but as fundamentally incapable of understanding love, making the outcome feel less like a complex dramatic choice and more like a hollow narrative reward for an unearned betrayal. Mechanical & Structural Bias: From a player perspective, the underlying game variables feel heavily weighted toward Lena’s independent agency at the expense of mutual commitment. Even when striving for player loyalty with Ian, the system continuously funnels the story toward her independent progression, offering no justifiable path for a truly faithful playstyle. After investing so much time into these characters, seeing a major betrayal resolved without genuine accountability or emotional catharsis leaves a sour taste. A character with Lena's backstory should be crushed by the weight of repeating her own trauma cycle; ignoring that moment of realization cheapens the story's overall impact.

I'd like to ask you how to start the trinity route while keeping Lena and Ian in an open relationship？

I started the Trinity route while doing Ian and Lena’s romance route. When you’re playing as Lena, choose the heart options with both Ian and Holly. When you’re playing as Ian, be nice to Holly and pick her heart options too. When Holly asks Ian to go on the book trip with her, accept and go with her, but only kiss her and don’t take it any further. Lena will be angry at first, but if she loves Ian, she’ll forgive him and they’ll continue their relationship. After that, while playing as Lena, keep choosing Holly’s heart options. At some point, Lena and Holly will kiss. Then, when they go to Perry’s vacation house, Lena and Ian will talk about Holly. You can start the Trinity route by choosing the options along the lines of “I loved her too” and “We’d like her to stay.” Have fun! :)

I really enjoyed the game and ended up buying it on Steam. One feature I'd absolutely love to see added is the ability to share or display the choices you make in the game with your Steam friends, similar to how it works in Detroit: Become Human and Telltale games. I think it would be a really fun addition, especially for comparing decisions and seeing how differently your friends approached the story. It would also be a great incentive to gift the game to friends, since being able to compare each other's choices would make playing it alongside friends even more engaging.

Enjoying the game so far, but there are a couple of gaps i’ve run into. The biggest is Lena-Holly at the beach, when Ian leaves it just ends for Lena, then the story jumps over to the next time they go out, which is a pretty big miss for that path. The Ian/Lena/Holly Throuple scene is great at the beach, so it doesn’t make sense of there’s no “moonlight cove” scene if Lena and Holly are there. As good as the throuple works, Lena Holly seems to make more sense, with Ian seemingly better suited to Emma, especially since he really drags his feet early on with Holly, and Lena doesn’t.
