Hi guys!

I guess you're wondering when v0.24 alpha will come out: tomorrow's the day!

Lately the updates are becoming quite complex to write and structure. I wanted to add a particular scene in this one but it got more complex in my mind and I just didn't have the time to complete the art or write it, so I pushed it back for the preview of v0.25.

Other than that, I want to tell you guys that at the beginning of February I'll make the earnings of the page hidden. You know that it's always been my modus operandi to be transparent with you and I feel proud to show the support you guys gift me with, but I'll start searching for people to support me with the graphical part for the upcoming project, or for GGGB even, as it's taking longer and longer to complete work on each update.

I've talked with some fellow Patreon creators and they have advised me to make the earnings hidden to be able to negotiate wages with illustrators more easily and freely. Just thought it was worth mentioning it to you guys :)

Time to pull another one-nighter before the release of the Alpha. Wish em luck!

Awesome, good luck

Feel free to do anything that helps you with the dev of GGGB or what else to come :D

Good news!! but... hidden? What makes you better than other creators is your transparency so please don't become one of them.

I understand. Some could say you make too much already, etc. You right now make more than half as much here in a month as I make in a year, but I'll keep supporting. You're the top one for me.

I love this game. Are there any other games close as this on Patreon?

Kwadwo

Yes! I'm so excited for the update, this posted really brightened up my morning! And about making the earnings hidden: personally, I don't really care. I think what you're doing is great, and GGGB is the best game I've played thus far. It is unique in many ways, so it is only right that you earn accordingly. And when it goes to spending that money to improve the development, I only view that as positive :)

For my part the art style of GGGB is the signature of this project, and I'm afraid that it could change. I don't know if it's because I'm more in writing and I don't know anything about drawing but it's seems to me to be more difficult to drawing "in the manner of" than writing "in the manner of". So as your are ever in contact with proofreaders why don't you hire one of them as ghostwriter ? I'm maybe a bit naive but does it couldn't make you gain enough time to work on the drawing ?

I don't see the benefit in hiding the earnings. If the person you deal with wants to base their price on how much you make, they can just look at the number of patrons and make an assumption. And considering that your tiers and release schedule are much less aggressive than other developers, their assumption will be even less in your favor.

I don’t really care about your earnings being public or not, but just so you know webs like graphtreon keeps track of creators’ earnings as well as the “per patron” income. So even when the earnings are hidden –as the number of patrons is always public- is quite easy for anyone interested to make an educated guess based on the project’s previous history.

People are just haters, if it was that easy to do as some people claim, why haven't they made a highly successful adult game? And it's not like you are gouging people on pricing tiers, yours are very fair. People are jealous and stupid.

Valerielychee

Just a question out of the blue: your tiers indicate that the 5 $ or more tier gives access to sneak peecks for the next version, but your sneak peeks seem to be only for the 20 $ or more tier. How come?
