Count on Fiq to go for 5 mins discussing the toxicity of talent in the Black family under White supremacy before the topic of the video even comes on stage, and making it utterly enthralling and enlightening. Good work

Giving constructive criticism and bringing out the best in people, while building them up in a loving and earned way is an art that few of us ever gain, let alone master. Thank you doing a video that at least touches on this concept. You continue to do some of the best videos on YouTube, we greatly appreciate your work ❤

Stephanie Cook

excited for this. she has been such a critical voice, yet an enigma. i can really see your tough-love trauma hypothesis as a major puzzle piece to her story. thank you for your passionate and purposeful investigations. <3

Lisa N.

Excited for the full video. The snippet you have is already enticing.

I know this is mad late but I’m posting here because I am watching it on Nebula now: I was in college summer ‘96 and my dorm windows opened over Brooklyn Bridge on-ramp. The way every NYC car stereo with open windows was bumpin’ The Fugees that summer — bottled lightning shot through hourglass sand uniquely crystallized. There have been other moments like that but nothing compares to being a Caribbean transplant in NYC that summer. The city veritably vibrated with that Fugees sound.
