So the only reason people feel ashamed of having certain sexual desires is because other people tell them that its wrong. But why do we need to have sexual do's and dont's like that in the first place? To protect us? I guess there are some types of sexual desires that can hurt people. But cant that be the only "dont"? No hurting people (unless they consent to it)? But then there are still people who can consent to something out of despiration, or in response to trauma...

I have to say that if part of what they are doing to themselves is cursing their own ability to enjoy sexuality…. that actually makes me feel better. Though being from the south one can’t help but look around and see almost every problem they have developed as being the result of sexual repression. …. Of course this is why they see themselves as needing to have control over women… as Eve was the one who feel to temptation. Sex has nothing to do with pleasure in this context, unless it is for reproduction it is dirty and even child bearing only exist because of sin. There is a very dangerous edge to sexual repression.

Hey Blair. I'm sorry that this situation disappoints you. I am disappointed to, this issue has been a cloud hanging over a video that I was very proud of, and it has caused me to be engaged with issues and people that I would rather be apart from. The totality of my feelings and views can't be contained in a single comment, so I will eventually make a video about it. I just want to say that I interviewed DJ Muel before his Xanderhal video, and probably would not have done that had I been more aware of the full breadth of the turmoil surrounding him. I don't think he should have attempted to create a narrative around Xanderhal's experience, but I also don't it’s accurate to characterize DJ Muel as an "abuse enabler" as he is being called. Beyond that, I ask for grace in knowing that I cannot always please everyone in every decision I make. I appreciate your criticism.
