Hey everyone!First and foremost I just want to say thank you to all of you who have been here supporting me from the beginning, as well as those of you who have supported me for a while and those who are just arriving.  Having strong Patreon support has been super important for me, especially these last few months as I needed to get my health in order and production slowed down.  I want everyone to know that I'm doing well and that's partially because this money not only supports me and my family, but it also allows me to take risks, invest in better production (and hopefully soon equipment) and not burn out trying to keep up my numbers.I am also opening up myself to other lanes of work.  I'm developing some family oriented content on Instagram, I'm planning some speaking engagements (reach out if you want to book) and I'm working on some VERY cool ideas behind the scenes, something that could make things a bit more lively here.  Also for those who don't know I've also released some merch a little while back.  For 10$ patrons there is a discount code in an announcement from a few weeks ago.For those who have been interested in reading lists, Me and the #cornbreadtube crew released a black leftist reading list that can be found here--->https://docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/1i_YV2Qf5rNYXylJ0zuSa5GRpglePRKrE/mobilebasicThat's pretty much it yall. Thank you for your support. Please stick around while I cook up more stuff.  Feel free to drop some suggestions for ideas or topics that you think might be useful.Thanks!F.D

Where’s the link to the reading series? Ps. Thank you. I’ve been watching you for a little over a year and I’ve learned more about black history than I did in 12 years of public school.

Just listened to your interview on UltraViolet and enjoyed it a lot.

A topic I'd like to hear more about is academia, specifically the challenges that Black academics face and how we can help their careers.

My favorite thing to hear as a patron is that I can help folks to make *less* content and pick and choose their projects. Art takes time, keep being amazing

I just joined and I really enjoy your content, that breaking bread video said something I have been trying to understand. I know that I don't have the best content, but I know that at least the few hundred people I have helped and who have followed me on YouTube and the other platforms I use. Thank you for doing what you doing. Oh yeah I will be sure to mention this video in my wnewsletter

you are an important voice in my opinion, something that the youtube space was really desperately missing. i respect the work and effort you put into enduring that space just to fight immensely

Thanks for all of your amazing intersectional work! If you make a Queens Of The Stone Age Video I will be the first to watch :)

So you recommend lil bill, who’s amazing, who then recommended a video from a channel called “what is politics” that’s some of the best video essays I’ve ever seen. I was wondering if you had heard of What is politics and in particular his video on the origins of patriarchy. Thanks for all the great videos

Commenting again to ask about your thoughts on people comparing Frank Ocean to Lauryn Hill in terms of their career trajectory and public presence

Hey new supporter here. I just discover your content. I decided to support because it feels like I owed you money after the work you out in educating me on racial issues and other topics. Looking forward to the next video.
