I saw this right away when it came out. Saw it in theaters twice. It was huge and has only got bigger. Almost all animated movies have tried to replicate the looks of these 2 movies. It really revolutionized and really upped the animation style and quality of everything.

For the Spider-Man brand new day movie you 100% need to watch the Netflix daredevil and punisher & the current 2 seasons of daredevil born again bro. They’re extremely good (all of them) but also extremely critical and a ton of elements/characters from these shows will be a big part of the movie.

Okay, I'll will say at this point, because it's been brought up multiple times (and no shade of course): The only reason Toby's Spider-Man used the "real" shooters from his wrists is because the writers of the movie couldn't work it in how he developed mechanical shooters. Spider-Man has ALWAYS used mechanical shooters, because he's smart and made them. It's canon in every Spider-Man story. Not that it's a wrong opinion to have, but Spider-Man ALWAYS uses his developed wrist shooters ❤️

Crazy that all it takes to love the natural webs out of the wrists is to just grow up with Tobey. I've always hated the natural webs because it doesn't make sense. Spiders spin webs out of their butt, not from the ends of their legs or arms. Web shooters are what almost every Spider-man uses and that's what it should be.

because the only reason Toby's Spider-Man had the wrist-webs in the first place was because the writers of the movie could not work it into the script with the limited time they had to have him make web-shooters. It was a shortcut. Spider-Man has never been able to "make" his own webs from his wrists 😊

Animation doesn't mean "for kids", and the medium is great at conveying emotions and contextual clues without dialogue. I hope everyone can appreciate a good quality animation! I truthfully can’t recommend it enough. It’s such an amazing series. The animation can be lack luster; but the story is so strong that often times you won’t really be thinking about. Every episode has action and you have 4 seasons to watch already. It’s amazing.

Since you watched the end credit scene, I wanna make this lil PSA. Please keep in mind that this version of Spider-Man 2099 isn't entirely accurate. Spider-Man 2099 has been my favorite Spider-Man since I was a kid, and this wasn't a disappointing take on the character but not a satisfying one either. Hopefully one day we get one, but just wanted to put that out there before it's drowned out by the Miles glaze. 💀

Watch a breakdown of "all the things you missed". There are SO MANY little details in: the music, the animation, the colors, the glitches... and SO MUCH MORE that add even more to the story. there's tons of foreshadowing and call backs to themes introduced in earlier scenes. Once you learn all about those details, it makes the movie INFINATLY better with every rewatch. The did just as good a job, if not better, with the sequel

If you love this animation style you should watch Arcane on Netflix, it’s a short and amazing show and also stars Hailee Steinfeld who plays Gwen in these movies the whole cast for this movie is great and a lot of actors who have been in live action Marvel returning in animation

This one is my son’s favorite and it’s actually up there on its own two feet with the live actions. There are even some live action chapters that this one tops! The concept is so fresh, Miles’ life is super relatable. He’s understandable and makes a lot of teenage decisions which is what we love about a young Spiderman making their way through life with powers they never asked for.

Oh man, I know he's on his Superhero movie Arc rn, but if he loved this Animation, then he's gonna still enjoy Across the Spider-Verse just as much, not to mention one of my Personal favorites in Animation aside from these 2 Spider-Verse Movies: Arcane, God the Animation is insane in that one too, even if they slightly fumbled the story in S2.

It didn’t. It probably didn’t have enough action for you. But for the most part, it was a build up. Part 2 is the climax, hence why there’s 2 parts instead of just a sequel. Part 1 is half of the story.

i get what you're saying, but you didnt really respond to the persons question... i understand that the comics are that way, but i believe the person was saying the main ability of spiders is being able to create webs, so it would make more sense for him to be able to do it organically. Being able to create webs organically makes a hell of a lot more sense to be related to spiders than spider sense lol

It's a banter moment because he was always wary of doing any animations. And this is a reminder to put aside preconceptions of animations. Yes he enjoyed it for this Spider-Man movie, but it's more about driving home the message for the future, just in case he wanted to attribute the enjoyment purely because it's spiderman "regardless" of it being animated:) I'm aware he did say that eventually, and I wrote that halfway in the movie before the end, but the sentiment holds up as a "we gotchu Woolz! Trust us and enjoy the animated ride!" And not "how dare you hate on animation", you know?

friendly reminder, if you want to fully live the hype with us through Brand New Day, you need to watch Daredevil (Punisher is introduced in season two of Daredevil)and Punisher Netflix series, and then Born Again, One Last Kill, so you can catch up with punisher since he's in the movie, that's a lot of content, I suggest you get on it quick, but if you are starting Daredevil, then there's rest of the Netflix show, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders, which are interconnected, and very important to Daredevil Born Again, because all of those character will return, so yeah, it's a lot of stuff
