The art style for Gwen and her world is meant to reflect her different universe vs in Miles' with a different more comic style art. Really love the softer, more water color look in Gwen

And ill die on the hill that the only reason why you like the natural webbing is because you grew up with Tobey Mcguire as your spiderman. The reason why natural webbing will always be worse then the webshooters is the fact that the webshooters are customizable and upgradable, oh you want electric webs? Sure. You want explosive webs? Absolutely. You want the webs to be fire proof? We can do that. Oh you wanna add jets too them to allow for arial maneuverability? We got that on lock. There is just so many ways to upgrade a webshooter that you just CANNOT do with natural webbing.

Fun fact: Spider-Man 2099's suit was actually intended to be black and red, a callback to the black widow spider he got his powers from, kinda. They used blue for shading contrast, and muscle definition details in the comic books, just like they did for Venom. There's also a frame in the movie that looks like concept art with this 2099 but in the black and red colors. Then over time more media interpretations like video games, and even other comic book artists just quietly got away with changing it. Then gave the color scheme to miles. Ngl pisses me off seeing as it's been my favorite Spider-Man since I was a kid and found out he's Mexican too, but this suit is peak, can't even be mad at this one. 🤷🏿‍♂️ But yeah my hopes and dreams of a of Spider-Man 2099 are dead already.

as much I want to agree with Miles, but I'm on Miguel on this. It's exactly the same with the Flash. If Barry Allen (Flash) goes back in time to save his mom, he will break the timeline and caused"Flash point". Barry never gets his powers, his parents are alive but then superman was never found by Martha and Jonathan Kent, batman is thomas wayne, wonder-women and aqua man goes to war (which destroys earth). His mom death has to happen in able for him to become the Flash. Now with Miles Dad's death, it has to happen.

I personally like the mechanical web shooters more because they demonstrate spider-mans intelligence, the rest of his powers show the spider aspect of him but him inventing the web shooters show off the man part. Peter or many other spider-men/women have their intelligence before they ever get the spider powers and i feel them having natural webs just takes away a very important showcase of just how smart they are. Not to mention mechanical web shooters add more stakes to certain scene since they can break or jam or run out of web fluid take the amazing spiderman 2 scene when he first fights electro and one of his web shooters break he has to think on his feet and quickly use both his spider sense and intelligence together in order to figure out how to save everyone you couldn't really have that with organic webs. I still like the organic webs and think their cool and make Tobey's spiderman stick out but you can do a lot more with mechanical web shooters and get to see more aspects of the character with them beyond them just being a person with spider powers.

Alright so If you go back to the first one when Miles had Just met peter you can see the colors around Miles head turn from purple and green to blue and red indicating that he was on the road to becoming the prowler but since the spider had bit him, his fate had changed, also all the stuff hobie was stealing was for the watch he built gwen at the end, Also Also the prowlers theme song is just Miles theme song backwards

I think you asked the same question in the previous Miles Morales movie as well, and I don't know if anyone else has answered it in the comment sections but (hoping you see this) they are all real versions of Spiderman in the comic books. They aren't just made up for the movies. I also personally recommend watching the "Venom" Series to fully dive into the Marvel/Sony Spiderman Story and (even though it wasn't the best to be honest) "Madam Web" as well. Fun fact about the LEGO scene: a young kid remade the whole trailer for the first Spider-Verse movie in LEGO stop-motion and posted it on YouTube. The creators of the movie saw it and invited that kid to make that LEGO scene you watched in this movie, and the kid got paid for it too!! Such a lovely, wholesome story (and a talented kid)! :)

im definitely going to end up writing multiple comments. its only been 3 minutes...anyways, the last movie subtly referenced Gwen's Peter dying. when Peter b Parker was trying to talk to dead peter's MJ, Gwen stopped him. I forgot her exact words but it something along the lines of "no matter how hard it is to see them you must...". I think she was speaking from experience. seeing Peter B must've did something to her but she never let it show

amazing movie but sadly due to crazy production stuff the pacing ended up pretty chaotic but it makes it fun cause each time you rewatch it you catch new things and new details while the first watch still retains all the key story stuff without issue

I really like the fact that it’s hinted in the first movie that miles is supposed to continue the mantel of being the prowler and it’s shown when he meets his Spider-Man. When miles and Peter’s spider tingle goes off miles background is green and purple symbolizing prowler and Peter’s is red and blue as it shifts back to miles and it changes to red and blue to symbolize him becoming spider man. It’s just a cool fact that I learned after rewatching these movies multiple times over

6:21 that's what she looks like in the comics too, she wasn't created for the movies. Actually, none of the spider-people were original creations in these movies (except some background characters at the Spider Society probably). I know she had her first solo run around 2016? And if I'm not mistaken the Spider-Verse event story happened around 2014 in the comics? Miles exist since 2012/13. I remember my friend bought me "Peter's death" storyline from the Ultimate Universe for my birthday when the first Andrew Garfield Spider-Man came out.

6:35 her name is actually Ghost-Spider in the comics (after they stopped calling her Spider-Gwen, not very good for a secret identity ahah), which suits her costume. Don't know why they called her Spider-Woman in these movies, since Jessica Drew (the motorcycle lady in this movie) was the original Spider-Woman.
