Wow, I sure miss the time when Mal still had her hair short. Ahh... the good ol' days when she's still pursuing the queen.

Malori, with her name meaning “unlucky,” was destined for misfortune —her tragic backstory, and to even fall in love with someone quite out of reach. During the middle of the series, I felt pretty sorry for her struggles, which made me more determined to grant her a happy ending. I did not expect her to have 20+ babies; that’s something I came up with while working on the final episode. But by granting Malori eternal happiness, she’s somewhat doomed the world by overpopulating it with half-dragons. So in a way, Malori’s name still makes sense lol.

(Just kidding! For sure Mal and Vel have some sense to know when to stop, right? Right…?)
