What a great duo. Both of them have the tendency to get in their heads and stress so it's so nice to see. them support each other and have fun together. Thank you for addressing the shipping stuff. I love all the duo videos and only see them as friends. I don't mind shippers but when they take it too far and start disrespecting another member is where it pisses me off. Like the obsession is too much. Once I read that Jimin is Kindergarten teacher coded and I 💯 felt that lol. Like he’s fun and carefree but also very nurturing. Like he’ll listen to anything that’s bothering you no matter how trivial and takes you seriously. Ya, I was going to mention that I unsubscribed from Cameron for awhile because of his campaign to boycott Hybe and the artists which affected J Hopes new release and Suga’s movie. I don’t want to get political (for lack of a better word) but I don’t see a direct correlation between boycotting Scooter Braun, or Hybe in relation to helping Palestine. I think that energy should be directed to aid. I am one of those people who sees both sides so I try not to put a bullseye on my back, but there it is. I’m not going to support anything that will hurt the boys numbers, whether it’s money or charting.

Moneaa please don’t hate on a specific demographic of their fanbase. I can assure you most 50 year old women will be married with kids their age. Not to mention shipping was happening in K-pop long before BTS blew up and became global. Don’t think the population of South Korea is made up of 50 year old white women. Not to mention almost all sasaeng’s and people chasing them at airports that are caught on new’s cameras are young women. There are a broad demographic of people that ship them as well as a broad demographic of other fan bases who interfere with other groups or Idols. I thought true Army respected one another, so let’s do that instead. 💜

You guys? Hey, it’s my opinion. Boycotting Hybe is boycotting BTS. They own a lot of shares and are on the board. Even if it isn’t about BTS, I personally don’t think it will change anything. If you want to go after Scooter, fine but don’t fool yourself that the boys are not working with him, they are. They are smart, they know who he is and they support him. I regret responding to that comment because it would have avoided this interaction, but here it is.

Not trying to add fuel to the fire but just had to comment. I 💯 agree with Figgy, never use “they” or “them” from twitter as a credible source for literally anything. It’s statistically implausible for that specific of a demographic to be the root of shippers. It’s irresponsible and goes against BTS ideals to generalize based on race/sex/age etc and just assign blame like that. I can definitely understand why you may have thought that tho, given how social media algorithms work. Once you interact with certain content it will keep feeding it to you, thats how all that QANON bs blew up.

Moneaa I would be so careful on X, there are a lot of fans and people pretending to be fans who make some crazy statements about BTS and Army’s. We’ve all seen some of the stuff that trends on there about the boys, really awful statements that are so full of hate it’s hard to believe people like that exist! Don’t go believing everything you read Moneaa as it’ll only lead you to feeling down or angry. Be kind to yourself and just read and believe the positive. 💜 I mean that from my heart. Don’t you also find it so hard to believe that the shipping demographic has been proven and is only being thrown about on X by specific people and not made the headlines on other social media sites or Weverse? Especially the ‘white over 50 year old women’. With how diverse their fandom is, that is narrowing it down so specifically to one race and age, don’t you also think this sounds like hate speech, because I do? Also is this demographic responsible for the shipping of different groups such as Stray Kidz and Black Pink as well? We both agree on the topic of shipping members romantically and making such a big deal of it, can’t be nice for the members to see the trouble this causes. But K-pop and their fan service hasn’t helped those who are already delusional sadly. I only hope you read this and maybe rethink what you have read by other people. The fandom is in the millions. Even if shippers made up a tiny fraction of ARMY, that’s still thousands of people bare minimum. Can you confidently say you’ve interacted or been blocked by thousands, or even hundreds of shippers to know thats the demographic? OR is it more likely that the algorithm is showing BTS shipper content from middle aged white women because you engage with them often enough to get blocked? Also ask yourself how is it possible that those women have been shipping JK since 14?… they were fresh out the debut womb lol. They barely had fans let alone shippers in Korea, I highly doubt there were many +50 aged white women who were shipping any of them.

My problem with people "boycotting" hybe is that they make everything about bts but are saying it's not about bts. You know it's like someone taking my wallet and demanding my money because my co-worker owes them money. It doesn't make any sense because that level of energy is not directed at any other artist or group that I've seen. Life goes on for everyone but bts and army. Like yall are streaming Ariana, Beyonce, all the major artists from those big labels are getting the streams and the views and the respect but BTS is getting all the flack because one of the people that their company has hired is a zionist. I was just stating my opinion on boycott of BTS which doesn't affect a little bit of the war at all. And about shooter's name on the albums those mentions are executive thanks to, which mention ALL executives from the mother company (hybe) under hybe you have several sub labels. Scooter is the ceo of HYBE America. BTS are NOT under Hybe America but BigHit Music, a totally separate entity under Hybe Corporation. And not to forget Bighit music became private and independent in 2021.

Well what I wanted to share was that as important and valid those reasons are for boycotting on the other hand supporting BTS music as an ARMY is just as important and valid. On top of that people r using it as a way to just hate on BTS and not for any humane moral activism. ARMY isnt a political movement. We are global fans of an Artist. It's unethical to claim otherwise and adopt yourself into a position of the mouthpiece of something the fandom hasn't agreed to. I'm ARMY for my Artists.  My politics are my own and not representative of the fandom. And throwing words like dense and stuff doesn't change that I don't support genocide but Ofcourse I have no right to use BTS and ARMY as my medium to convey those political issues and in the process harm BTS themselves.

Well my opinion still stands that Cameron is an anti cuz he is basically he is earning money from his BTS videos and spreading that the very artist be boycotted. That's utter bullshit. If you r boycotting that means no usage of any of those things. But that doesn't mean u will steal from artist who have created those with their hardwork and instead expect the fans to pay you.
