I don't think y'all understand how impressive RM’s painting is (specifically the technique) 😭 realism is difficult and impressive, but at the end of the day it's just copying what you see 1:1. It's an admirable skill to artists, obviously Jungkook’s painting is amazing, but RM went more for style. He used pointilism, a technique using just dots. That's a LOT of work! That's why I find his more impressive because it's not just copying what you see — it's interpreting it through your own eyes. And I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to diminish Jungkook’s talent, because I'm not. He's a naturally gifted man who could probably become the next contemporary greats in art if he wanted to! This is just my own opinion as someone who loves art 💜 Also, I think y'all are a bit obsessed with making everything competitive 💀 RM started painting first, him seeing Jungkook did not make him want to try something different lmfao he's BEEN doing pointalism since yesterday. They aren't even painters, what's the point in making it competition? It's just a fun thing to do.

The thing with V is people used to always call him '4D' or 'Alien' because of his personality so as time went on, I think he felt pressured to tone down/ hide who he truly is. People say it's because he's "matured" but I think it's more than that, he was always looked at as the "weird" one in BTS because of his unique personality. Thankfully after in the soop, we started to see the "old" V come back and he's back to being his goofy, funny unique self that we all love. I fell in love with BTS because of V and his amazing, charismatic energy that he has.

If you want to check out V being more vulnerable, definitely check out his solo song "Stigma"! It's one of my favorite BTS solo songs and the lyrics are so unapologetically raw that it's almost surprising because of how rare that can be. The lyrics are beautiful and explicitly full of pain and sorrow that it feels like reading someones diary. If an army tries to tell you there's a specific meaning in the lyrics, don't listen to them because no one truly has any idea. Even RM himself who took part in creating the song said that V wouldn't disclose the meaning of the song to him so it's a mystery for now. Feel free to have your own interpretations and don't worry about being wrong! (P.S: Check out the lyrics video first!)

Yes totally agree here too! I’ll add that I don’t think a singular traumatic event happened to V (that we know of at least) but more to do with the stress/pressures of idol life in general. In the HBO doc he talked about the stress of the spotlight and the only reason he kept going was because he loves his boys and ARMY; cut to the pandemic and now they can’t see each other like before and he can’t physically meet ARMY and receive that love anymore. That’s what he told JK, that he realized how heavily he was relying on that external love to feel good and how he changed when it was gone. I think he’s more of an introspective thinker than he gets credit for. It makes sense for him to start withdrawing into himself and that’s the awkwardness him and JK we’re talking about. He very likely got as much; if not MORE from that convo with JK despite what the “body language” shows. People that are reserved or introspective will often show “closed” off body language but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to be there. Speaking from experience introspective people often show this kind of body language but we’re heavier thinkers, to me it was clear that he was talking with JK genuinely and not a forced convo.

I lowkey was getting triggered by them going in on the sleeping in! 🤦🏽‍♀️ I have ADHD and erratic sleep is something I struggle with too. Jody and Kion just reminded me of my mom growing up getting on my case all the time SMH. When the members have been asked to point out the hardest worker or perfectionist it’s usually Jimin lol it’s legit a joke between them that Jimin will want another practice round when everyone is dead. Jimin and JK are both night owls and both have talked about on their days off they’re up past 4am and get up late in the afternoon. This is them on vacation too; resting is a perfectly fine vacation activity in my book lol so take it easy poor Jimin! Let him get his beauty sleep! 😂

Lol yea apparently Kions views an enclosed rice cooker on the floor absolutely disgusting! But also public urination over the mountain viewpoint where people may also want to sit and have a picnic at or where ppl might have to hike under is cool. Lol logic tracks I guess…. 🤔 In episode 1 Jhope was looking for an outlet and couldn’t find one so that’s where he put it and they just didn’t move it. That spot isn’t ideal sure… but the rice cooker is also fully insulated and covered not the same as grilling meats on the floor lol. Also the insert comes out for washing and prep. The property had two houses that smaller one is more of a small cabin, notice they wear their shoes inside the cabin and why the floor is dirty. The main house they never wore shoes in, you can see them all piled outside and that’s where V sat down to eat. Personally I view things as dirty or disgusting based on proximity to actually harmful germs/bacteria and not perceived “ickyness” lol but that’s just me I… 🤷🏽‍♀️lol

Also to be fair that isn’t Honeydew Melon. It’s called Galia Melon, it’s a hybrid between honeydew and cantaloupe. Honeydew is smooth outside and green inside while cantaloupe is webbed outside and orange inside. I’ve had it and it’s good, just tastes like a cantaloupe & honeydew lovechild lol. Also the squid they were eating is dried squid, it’s not fried at all. Think of jerky but made from squid. Its very common for Koreans to grill the dried squid, adds a crispy texture and smoky taste. Dried squid is common snack, and usually a getting drunk snack lol with beer or soju.

God this Kion talks a lot!!! And then you're surprised that the episode lasts more than 2 hours! It hasn't even been 20 minutes since I started watching the episode that I already want to stop watching it because I want to shoot myself as soon as he opens his mouth. He has an opinion on everything even though he doesn't know anything and you feel like he's just there to be seen but he's not really interested in BTS. Guys, that's not insomnia! Insomniacs have a hard time to sleep at any time. It's not the same thing :) Night owls. I am one myself. I might go to bed at 6am or later when I don't have to work. It is very hard to get up in the morning, it takes about 2 hours before I can even think or not feel like I'm gonna collapse. I have to work 9am-6pm and it's just not what I naturally would want to do, so it is a struggle to adapt to what others feel is 'normal'. Jimin is like that, and the other members accept it because they understand it.

That's not the goal; the point is to learn and understand the other's point of view - as you just said. I see where you are coming from, yes. I did not mean to tell you what you had. I'm sorry that it made you feel like that. I only went by your description of insomnia, which did not seem correct to me. My knowledge about insomnia (what it is and not whether Jimin or you have it) comes from studying, but obviously I don't know you and I didn't even know your proper symptoms at first, so I was surely not trying to analyse you. Either way, what's important is that whatever your diagnosis, hopefully it helps you with any issues you have and that you feel better. You are young and you need proper sleep to stay healthy. You may think it’s a competition with the painting between JK and RM, but it’s not a fact, just your opinion. Don’t generalize and conclude that it’s always a competition etc…. What I observed was one person continuing his painting from the previous day, and another wondering what activity he could do and deciding to paint. RM was impressed with JK’s painting, and curiously asked questions about the texture and colours, most likely because RM loves art and wanted to know and learn more. The only thing he admitted doing wrong was opting for the tedious approach of dotting (art technique known as pointillism) since it would need more time to complete. V admired his effort, as it reminded him of a famous painting done in the same technique. Point - regardless whether JK had painted or not, RM’s painting would end up looking the way it did. He’d already sketched it out, so the only difference would be in how he chose to blend the colours to get the shades he’d want to put on his painting.

At different times Jimin has said that he is on his computer or phone really late. We all do that sometimes. He also said that people thought he might be depressed, but never said he was. He did say straight up that he gets sleep paralysis. I’ve had it and it’s terrifying. When it happens, if you don’t get up and try to stay awake you keep slipping back into it. Sometimes it’s very hard to go back to sleep for a long time, especially if you play on your phone and the blue light amps you up again. My point is that there are many sleep disorders and if you have one, you likely have others at some point in life, but he has never said he has insomnia, just that he stays up late. On Weverse all the guys posted a pie chart of their schedules both work day and not with their sleep and he showed how late he stays up, that’s as transparent as he is going to get. I wish we could post pics here.

Jody, I have pretty bad insomnia sometimes too. Tell E-man to try some melatonin gummies called Olly Sleep. Melatonin is usually garbage but this one is really good. You just gotta take it real early. If I wanna sleep by 12am I take it at 5pm. It'll force you to sleep and then you don't feel groggy and like shit the next day.

Just wanna give you some context on points throughout while I watch to help you all❤️ So V at the time was experiencing feelings of depression and he was struggling with burnout at one point as well, i think it was on the previous episode where V is having his moment on the boat he was playing a song. It was actually his song he wrote for his EP about how down he has been feeling and his depression… BTS thought the song was beautiful so V said they can put it in their album so the rapline wrote and added their parts which is now one of the most beautiful and heart breaking songs I’ve ever heard ‘Blue and Grey’ you guys definitely should react to it so you understand V’s thoughts a bit more 🤍 he’s much better now as you will see in Jinny’s kitchen🥰

I think a lot went on behind the scenes when BTS entered the American music industry, there was a lot of fakeness and racism going on behind the scenes. As it went on and on, V became much colder in American interviews and dealing with celebrities. There must've been more factors going on and dealing with being a public figure. But there's definitely a big difference in the comfort level V has in Korean content versus American content. During his solo album he also only promoted in Korea and Japan, and didn't have any content with American journalists or spoken in English. ((((And that dating revalation was years after this season of in the soop. It happened within the last year. He only made a personal statement saying he made a report to his lawyer teams, basically taking down anyone that engaged in the gossips))))

I personally relate a lot to taehyung. I was also a class clown when I was younger and was always in my own world. But then the real world hits you, and you realize being the class clown means people don't take your feelings so seriously and you get hurt a lot very easily. I'd say taehyung is the most sensitive soul in the group, I think he's quite sensitive about people's opinions and the rumors going around. From 2013-2015 the public opinion about BTS was really negative, and the industry's peers and colleagues were disrespectful and made hurtful remarks. They were just teenage boys, but especially taehyung, he was living in his happy bubble when the real world burst it.

And then after they entered the American industry, and they faced a lot of discrimination behind the scenes. But in order to break through the market they really worked 24/7, in 2017-2018 is when they worked their hardest. They all became burnt-out. But taehyung thought he was having a tough time on his own. During the Suchwita interview (SUGA's show) he opened up about thinking about selfh@rm during that period. But that he got through it as he realised the other boys were also having a tough time. Taehyung was also the one that planned a get-away weekend with just the boys that pretty much saved BTS from disbanding during that time. I think for all of them they came to realize what's really important, and that happiness lies in the small things and their connection with eachother.

Ya, V was definitely going through something at the time. Their album BE which came out during the pandemic has a beautiful song on it written by V called Blue and Grey. I vaguely remember him talking about it and saying he was depressed for a while. He seems to be better now. His videography skills are that good he directed the life goes on MV and has many plenty videos of their trips under ‘Golden Closet Films’ On a episode of RUN BTS they do flying yoga of course him and Jimin being able to pick it up straight away😅 V also plays the saxophone and on an interview they tested Jungkook to make a noise out of it… it takes weeks(even V said himself) to make a good note out of it or ever a proper sound. He does it on the first blow 🤣 His mum had a dream when she was pregnant with him about golden rain, which has followed with him when RM gave him the nickname Golden Maknae and his solo album being called Golden. He’s also known to have perfect pitch which he also demonstrates in a Episode of RUN BTS (there’s a list of the few singers who have perfect pitch) The likes of; Michael Jackson Whitey Houston Stevie Wonder Charlie Puth(who also has done a song with Jungkook and confirmed that he does indeed have perfect pitch) He is truly something else that’s the best way to describe him I think and from the first glance of him when my mum showed me a MV I was like who is that and how I found BTS been my bias since that very first moment😅

They have had hate right from the very first day of their debut. I can assure you it isn’t linked to their fandom. But due to years of this happening it has led Army to be protective of them. Because they literally have done nothing to warrant it. There is a video by X-Celeste called BTS hardships. It’s only about 15-20 mins long. But it has factual examples of the hate. But only a very small percentage of what they’ve had. Be amazing if you reacted to it, only goes up as far as 2021 I believe. So a shit load more since then.

I've had it when I was younger, it's truly terrifying lol this is just from my experience but at night I would wake up but my body would still be asleep I guess but whatever it was I could not move from the neck down so if I was in a uncomfortable position I would have to stay like that until I force myself back to sleep but I would tend to see things think of it as a nightmare in plain sight whether that's tall figures or small things it's as if my mind was messing with me

He was cute about it, but it’s no joke. You can’t move or make noise and it feels like you are being sucked down and you fight against it because you are scared to relax and go with it. If someone is there they don’t know it’s happening and in your mind you are wishing they would shake you or move you. When you do break free, sometimes it’s just a second and you are back in it again. When it happens, I just stay up awhile.

If you watch this short clip Jody, it’s what I think is the catalyst for his weird sleep pattern and issues. After doing this as a trainee and then BTS schedule for 10 years it’s kind of understandable. BUT since they’ve take time out for military he has said on several occasions he’s sleeping better. I think sometimes you guys aren't paying enough attention.....Jhope and RM literally told the members on the phone while they were on the mountains to eat without them bc they were already eating. 😂 they weren't "being weird" . And as far as the conversation with tae and jk...it wasn't set up by production as "damage control" bc us as fans had no clue about whatever they were going through. Tae recruited jimin to get jk to come and have a drink with him because he wanted to have the conversation. He literally said that jk texted or called him a while before and said that he wanted to meet up to have a drink with him, but it didn't end up happening. It was a healing time for V and he wanted to heal what he felt like had been a little bit broken....I think u guys read too much I to things sometimes.

I forgot to add I would tend to force myself to stay up at night so I could avoid getting it and sleep in the morning which obviously makes it a lot less scary lol maybe that’s why jimin slept so much in the morning (not denying he has insomnia or anything) but just speaking from my experience

It works both ways. You can’t be telling us it’s only our opinion or your opinion etc when you reply to others’ comments with stuff like ‘they were competing. Even if you don’t believe they were’ - that is you implying it as fact that they were competing. We are just trying to highlight that it is possible, but it is also possible that they learn from each other in a nurturing way, without the competitive aspect. That is all. I will agree that some people may have fed you incorrect information based off their own interpretation of things, and we would rather rely on information that is shared directly by the BTS members themselves, without twisting the narrative. y’all stop being so hard on jimin😂 he is a night owl and has sleeping issues which he’s talked about a couple times. plus he probably does more in a month than i’ll do in my lifetime LOL let him sleep on his vacation😂😭😭 one time jin said they got their schedule for the month and all they had in the WHOLE MONTH was a half day off😭😭 HALF! and their job is so physical it has to be exhausting asf. i feel so bad, they were probably so overworked at the time :(( even the fact that they had to cut the “vacation” into two parts cuz they had a schedule back in seoul says enough😭😭 so jimin is not ur average sleepy head like ur friends are, he’s probably just dealing with years of pent up exhaustion🥲 the days where he said he would regularly only sleep for two hours are finally catching up to him😭

yeah 2020 for V was a hard year for whatever reason. we don’t know the full extent but i’m so glad he’s happier now. when it comes to depressed/hard years for each of them i would say it was 2019 for jungkook, 2022/23 for jimin, 2023 for namjoon, 2022 for jhope. yoongi and jin seem to be pretty stable now, i think yoongi struggled more in early days. jin seems to have a pretty healthy mindset all around. i cant even imagine the things these boys have had to endure tho, like we don’t even know half of it probably. i’m lowkey impressed at how well they’ve maintained their sanity after being in the industry for 11 years😵‍💫 so many celebs go bonkers or become really bad ppl😬
