With how Jimin dresses, if you look at how he dresses himself outside of schedules, he dresses like how he is in this live. He wears very casual clothing, the things he likes the most is jewellery but he doesn't dress flamboyantly outside of BTS schedules lol. His fav colour is black too

I think some of them were excited, but I also think they’re just making the best of the situation. They can’t really say anything negative about it. Even in this live rm asked Jimin how he felt and he asked if rm really wanted to know and that it would get gloomy. There’s def way less cameras in their face now but you still see pictures and videos of them in the military. Ppl even know their training schedules and what meals they’re eating, it’s so weird😭 they actually do get their phones, rm and v post on their Instagram stories a lot. Jimin and Suga have full on ghosted us tho

When I watched this live, I only confirmed the feeling I had, that Jimin wasn't so prepared to go, he laughed the entire live, out of nervousness, I noticed that. He went into the Army because he had to, not because he wanted to. Guys, you should react other lives, all of them its good!

Nope Jimin and jungkook did. They are also the two I felt were the most sad so I’m glad they have eachother. Suga is doing social service(??) instead of the typical military service because of his shoulder injury/surgery. His enlistment is the longest as well.

V is the one that go to the special force SDT and JK was sad because he also want it to do special force he was the one that saying in tiny that he want to do but he can’t becuz of the tattoos that’s why you can see he was sad at the ends after this on insta story taehyung post a pic of him and jk facetiming showing their heads and JK also did a solo live the night before enlisting recently the photos of the articles V in SDT came out for an promotion for the sdt he seems to take it very seriously

Just want to add, all Idols have had a rough time in the military and it’s widely known, past and present. Also they don’t get special treatment of any kind and have to work just as hard, if they did then regular folk would kick right off and it would be in the press. Have to remember South Korea and North Korea are only on a cease fire, the war never ended. Hence why there is still an American military base there. Once the 6 weeks training is up then they are all deployed and on active duty. It’s not like the army cadets etc. Be worth watching a video about famous people in the military there.

V being excited to go makes sense because of how weird his personal fans in Korea are, one followed him home and tried to get him to sign a marriage certificate. A fan even broke into the military and gave Jin an unauthorized vaccination. That’s why I’m glad I’m an international fan

Jody, they weren't happy about going into the military. I don't think anyone would be happy. It's compulsory, there's no point in romanticizing military service. It's hard to leave your current life (especially the life BTS lived), job, family, friends and, above all, freedom, because let's be honest, military life limits this freedom very much. The boys will certainly use this time well, but I think they would better use it in what they do best, which is music. Everyone seems to be happy and joking on this livestream, but just watch Jimin and Jungkook's recent livestreams. Jungkook was joking, singing, fooling around on the penultimate session, and then he came in so sad and serious. My heart breaks. A fan didn't break in to the military base (that would paint the military as poorly secured). A nurse who already worked there went into Jin’s camp and gave him the unauthorized shot. Still messed up and never should have happened, but still an important detail.

Yeah Jimin was definitely nervous, he looked so uncomfortable in the official video when they arrived on camp, really shy about his hair

V is the only member who went into specialized forces (specifically to counter terrorism attacks). He's doing well and sometimes updates army on hs weight haha Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together under the buddy system, meaning they will be together the entire time they're enlisted. However the buddy system is more difficult than what the other members (besides V) are doing. It's much more harsh. Jin comes back in less than 40 days! He did amazing and got promotions quickly. Same thing with J-hope, where he got promoted quickly for his work. Suga is doing social service because of his shoulder injury (apparently the surgery he got wasn't enough to bring it back 100%). But because of this, his enlistment is longer. 22 months I believe as opposed to the typical 18months

I definitely agree that V was excited for this challenge. Jimin however seemed very… nervous, and like he said at the end, disappointed. He cut his hair at the very very last minute, almost crying when he showed us his shaved head on his last solo stream. And he kept giving his nervous laughter throughout this stream… I honestly just felt bad for the guy. It doesn't surprise me he decided to enlist under the buddy system, as the system was made to help soldiers in keeping mentally stable. Reporters have actually been shocked by army because of how almost none came to the enlistment ceremonies. It's funny, there's a clip of some paparazzi waiting at the entrance and talking, saying how surprised they were that the camp wasn't crowded by fans. K-pop fans in general are crazy, more so in Korea. So for little to no fans to show up is a huge surprise. But of course we still get those few leeches who think the warnings and wishes don't apply to them. Absolute freaks.

Jimin finished top of his class, same class Jungkook was in. Jimin also won another accolade, forget what it’s called, but basically around supporting other s. He also very sweetly donated his telephone call time allowance to other recruits who were probably having a rough time with separation. Jimin was deployed as an Artillery Superior, overseeing and organising gun skills, including missiles, Jimin is very good at math so probably deployed as able to work out trajectory etc. Jungkook is working as a cook in the mess, feeding so many soldiers 3 square meals a day must be long hours. Jin excelled in his training and is an assistant drill instructor. His took his unit of men on their 20km walk and as an instructor if a man struggles and can’t carry the 30kg backpack the instructor does. He carried 3 full combat gear on the 20k walk for his men. Think BTS are being a great example to Korean people about going into the military. Korean government are now apparently going to abolish all exemptions, such as sportsmen and classical musians, stating if BTS can go then everyone can. Which is good, not fair on ordinary folk to have to go, like it or not, and famous people don’t

Jimin doesn’t dress flamboyant outside of BTS schedules, they way Jimin is dressed here is how he normally dresses, you’ll see it through more behind the scenes videos and some weverse lives, casual baggy clothing is his typical style, I know y’all are used to seeing him all made up and flamboyant in official schedules and stuff etc.. but his own personal style is pretty opposite of that but still with his own personal twist like lots of cool Jewelry

99.99% of ARMYs really didn't go to their trainingcenters. Anyone that did go, are crazy stalking b*tches, not ARMYs. And those stalking pages I have permanently blocked, I think most ARMYs do. I'm really curious which pictures you saw 🤣 Because I saw in total maybe a handful of pictures come by, which were taken by the family of other soldiers which were in attendance. Reporters even wrote articles about how suprised they were how little amount of fans were there during the enlistment. Just a total of 5-10 fans and the rest were all reporters by the side of the road. There were even less fans than the amount that shows up at the enlistment of some Korean indie artist.

This live that hurts my heart so much. Jimin smiles very excitedly, but I can tell that he shows many moments of complicated feelings. I can see that both RM and Jungkook have mixed feelings. Jimin and Jungkook are doing the buddy system , they will be together for the whole of their military life , jimin looked so sad , almost crying in his last live showing us his hair , he did dye it blonde like 3 weeks in advance and he’s quite known for his blonde hair , so you can tell he’s very attached to the things military life style will strip away from him compared to other members

Suga is interesting because he’s doing like social service for 22 months , longer than anyone else (idk if that’s what it’s called) but we haven’t seen him since the last day of his concert where he did a live after , this was around august , no pictures , no nothing , people suggest that because doing the service he’s doing because of his shoulder injury, that soldiers doing this would be looked down on , almost shamed for this act , and knowing that he’s a BTS member wouldn’t help his cause , miss them all sm, Jin comes back I think it’s 12th June or 11th ? Right in time for festa on the 13th

It's the military though that is releasing all that information, it's on their public website about all their soldiers, not just BTS. It's up to us on what to do with it. There'll always be crazy stalkers that are all up in their information. But I've never been on that website and also never saw my ARMY friends post about it.

Suga is serving as a social service agent. It is an alternative form of military service for those who deem unfit to serve as soldiers in a military base. Suga had an accident and consequently a shoulder surgery that made him unfit when he enlisted in 2023. Social service agents in South Korea don't actually belong to the military and their term of service is longer than the Korean Army – 21 months, including three weeks of basic military training. They serve in government agencies and welfare institutions and they can even go home after work. He has recently started the basic military training as far as I know. There are no official photos of him, nor it is known where he is actually, for good reasons. He is working outside, so they want fans out of his life right now, because he is serving, just as the others who are in military bases. Hybe even asked ARMY not to go 'see him off' when Suga was enlisting and there were no photos with the members or family either. We could luckily see him on the videos and photos when RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook were enlisting - that was the last appearance of him since he is serving.

What's the correlation to being an international fan? Both in Korea and internationally there's crazy stalkers and people invading their personal space. If BTS lived in another country it'd be the same, or even worse. It's just the crazy people of the world, and it's so sad the boys have to deal with that.

I’m not saying we don’t have crazy people here cause we definitely have our fare share but from my personal experience I’ve heard less about the fans here than I have about the fans over there, it’s not anything against them but their are big differences 🤷🏽‍♀️ again it’s from my personal experience as ARMY

it’s clear that the members find comfort/happiness in each other because this live was so loud and fun. their last individual lives are all so sad in comparison. i could barely watch jimins he was clearly unhappy and tearing up

Jody, Army respected their request and they did not go to the training center. I was watching the live stream of a Korean news outlet. There were posters on the walls wishing them all the best, but nobody was blocking the roads or trying to run to their cars. They arrived safe and sound like other people.

The latest info I have on their military service after completing the basic training: Jimin was assigned to the Field Artillery Fire Direction Center. Individuals must possess an analytical mindset and a deep understanding of mathematics and physics to be considered for placement in the 'brain of artillery'. Jungkook is serving as a cook. It is not as easy as it sounds, he has to get up 1-2 hours earlier than anyone to make breakfast, they do dishes, prepare lunches and dinners. They also don't have weekends off. RM is in the 15th Infantry Division of the of the 2nd Corps in the Seungni Army Base, where it is very cold in winter (about 4 hours from Seoul). The division is often called 'the victory unit'. The base has barbed wires to protect the frontline. V is in the Military Police unit. His unit is called Rok II Corps, that incorporates both the Special Duty Team and general police personnel. It has the nickname of 'Double Dragons'. Based on the photos that appeared, he is most probably in the Special Duty Team, that requires aggressive actions aimed at engaging and attacking the enemy.

Someone left links above to the last lives and the entrance ceremony. The last shots of Jimin and Jung look rubbing each other’s shaved heads got me in the feels. They both had that look like if they say words they’ll cry, so they were so quiet.

Some bad things have happened to idols in the military before, but it’s gotten better. I think the fact that BTS enlisted on their own when the exemption was still up in the air, made the other soldiers more welcoming than if they had tried to get out of it. Also, the tidbits of news we have been getting has been from other soldiers posting, or the military website. Jung kook was cooking so much during his lives for a while and it makes me think he wanted to cook. It’s hard to imagine Jimin with weapons but I’m not surprised he excels at it. In Run BTS, he is not competitive but that is entertainment. In real life military I bet he is super focused and on point.

You guys should watch their military entrance videos, the one for all the members. If you do, can you guys react to them all in one video? They are not that long. There’s one video just do Jin, one video just for J-hope (they have their own individual videos because they went in at much different times than the others) and then there’s one last video with, jk, V,Jimin and RM because they went back to back. Rm and V went and then Jk and Jimin’s was exactly the next day, so they just put their recordings together. Also they have access to their phones in the military and a lot of them are always posting on weverse and or instagram.
