TEAM Rhaenyra! I Still love Allicent, but let's see how long that lasts.

Eric Meekins

If Alicent is committing herself to team green then I can’t be team alicent lol

Johnny Blizzard

Lol Is that Tywin's son? Yep, and Daenerys marched north with the Dora Milaje.

DeeJayyy

Thank god that you're finally switching sides Jody. Your now finally seeing that Alicent is nothing more than a low IQ mother who can't control her children. She doesn't ride a dragon. She can't fight. And she has no real say in what goes on in any of the big decisions that are being made. She literally provides absolutely nothing to this show. SHES ENTITLED AND TRASH! She's nothing more than a useless pawn. I would like her if she was assertive but SHE DOES NOTHING OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

DeeJayyy

And also Jody, don’t let those fools try to tell you you have to be team black if your team Rhaenyra, I’m a LeBron fan but I don’t like the lakers and I only watch the Lakers for bron. The same logic applies.

Oswin

Your not team black as a viewer Jody, but if you were Lord Jody Jo of House Cornerius and Rhaenyra sent a messenger for you to vow your fealty to her cause you'd be all team black =D

Oswin

oh fuhh, i just remembered something, when Helaena said i forgive you to Alicent, she probably meant this! damn if i knew Helaena i would write down everything she says, i need those lottery winnings.

George Elokobi

Two HOURS DAMN. I’m locking in after work.!!!

There are two parts I think you guys didn't fully get the reasoning behind each scene for this episode. First, with the Princess Baela and her dragon Moon-dancer, when she reported back to Queen Rhaenyra, she mentioned that she didn't engage because the Queen told her not to engage, hence she didn't dracarys the search party or the camp, because she was following orders. Secondly, the last scene at the Great Sept of Baelor, when Queen Rhaenyra had a knife and encountered Queen Mother Alicent, she was startled by her presence. The motive is when Queen Mother Alicent mentioned "What if I cry out?" the knife gave Queen Rhaenyra leverage because she said "I can kill you if they capture me." That was the whole point, to prevent Alicent from calling upon the guards and have the heartfelt discussion between them. Also, another point with Jody's stance on Queen Alicent - the last time she spoke to her father, Ser Otto Hightower, she mentioned that she feels she will not be able to control her sons (King Aegon II and Prince Aemond) because he always over-spoke her claims. Yet, she was hoping they both can join forces until the matter of succession was done to stir the seven kingdoms into a time of peace. However, now that Ser Otto is gone, she has no one in her corner, and that makes Jody's point even more valid.

Leo.e

I saw online that the director confirmed that those were dany's dragon eggs.

Jodys Corner

firstly, I did fully understand what was said. Baela was trying to kill them, but she didn't get there fast enough. You accepting the cop-out that she was just going to monitor them from afar. Your are assuming she didnt say dracarys because she was given orders when she broke those same orders to get close to them. .......................secondly, Rhaenyra herself said that was dumb what she did by pulling out the knife. i caught it all. it was just stupid of Rhae to bring the knife while trying to barter for peace.

Jodys Corner

She isnt trash, She is Queen "Regent" she DOES provide a lot to the show. Thats crazy hate talk you spewin'

DeeJayyy

It’s not hate talk. I’m unbiased. She has still not proven herself as useful in any situation. You can’t name me one thing that Alicent has done that has been “useful”. Yes, she is sympathetic and she does care but she is to weak to provide change or anything in general to either faction. The one thing that she has done is screw up the line of succession because she couldn’t see that her sick, old, half dead husband was obviously deranged. There’s signs of his declining mental state in Season 1 Episode 7 where he calls Alicent “Emma” (Visery’s first wife) that’s why I speak on her level of IQ being low with her not being able to see that he’s obviously spewing nonsense half of the time. If she rode a dragon she might’ve been more tolerable. She’s a good character in the sense of morals and duty, but during war it is useless especially if you can’t effect change upon your council/children who are leading the war.

Sam

The letter Alicent sent was after Rhaeneyrs son got killed remember? That's the letter Rhaeneyra didn't read. Alicent didn't send a letter after Aegon's son was killed

DAEMON TARGARYEN

It would be more stupid if she didnt have a knife with her. Yes it comes of more standoffish first but she cant risk trusting Alicent won't call the guard and end upp arresting her & putting and end to the rebellion. But from a writers perspectiv its even more stupid for her to even be there imo but iguess it was important for the story to have them have that conversation.

Ishtar's Universe

I'm still team rhaenyra but Alicent is in a tough situation fr, like how do you go back to the council and your son and tell them that what I thought Viserys said 'wasn't actually true... it was a mistake.' Blood has already been spilled on both sides, nobody listens to her, the council is in disarray plus the war that just happened between the Blackwoods and the Brackens. They would beat her ass lol Its as she said, its far too late to choose peace now but I still wanted her to try to make things right and I'm kinda disappointed that she didn't. Lets see how she processes this information in the upcoming episodes but I'm 110% behind Rhaenyra. She extended an olive branch and put herself at risk in the biggest way, put everything on the line, just to have that talk with Alicent and to avoid this war and she will forever have my respect for that. In the words of Alicent's punk ass son, Aegon, "TO WAR THEN."

Sam

Lmao Alicent been doing petty stuff to Rhaenyra to escalate this war since season 1. Now it's time to deescalate, she has no power? Lol so Alicent's character is to cause problems but take no responsibility because she's just a girl? What am I do with a character like that. You can have her lol

Jodys Corner

No, I dont remember. How do you know when she wrote the letter and when she sent it?

Jodys Corner

I agree 100%. If Allicent says something to someone she trusts, I will be happy. If she stay silent for the whole season, it will hurt. But i still know it will be out of self preservation. I cant hate her for that. Team Rhaenyra!

Jodys Corner

If you didnt trust allicent wouldnt kill you when she seen you, then you never should have risked the trip in the first place. I call BS

Jodys Corner

She did her duty to her father and husband. Bore his children and raised them up while the king was sick. She was a mother and father the whole time. Wtf am i hearing?

Sam

In episode 1 of season 2 at the council meeting. She asked if Rhaeneyra responded to her letter. And that's when the other guy responded, "An apology for her dead son?" "None your Grace" that's the letter she never read

DeeJayyy

Those same children who are out here raping little girls and killing little kids with their dragons? Oh Ight. A kid is a reflection of their parents so it actually makes her even MORE TRASH for raising them TRASH KIDS to be like that!

Benj97s

With Jody 100%. Even if Alicent went to everyone and said it was a misunderstanding and tried put a leash everyone, it's too late. Aegon, Criston they're too far gone. They're out for blood. Same for Rhae, Daemon is out for bloodshed. He isn't gonna listen to her. We will see Alicent try and pull everyone back but fail because she doesn't have the power. That last convo was a HUGE turning point. Rhae knows there was no deceit, or spite here and it was a genuine misunderstanding for Alicent. Should really change how Rhae approaches things now, I think she'll try and limit bloodshed. Team Rhae for the throne. Still really like Alicent. And Daemon's such a loser. P.S Jody, episode 9 and 10 of The Bear S2 isn't up?

Benj97s

Simple and Sympathic with decent morals is all one needs for me to like as character. She doesn't need to ride a dragon or have Tywin level IQ. Daemon is an example that tried to be written to be "cool" with slick one liners, cool armour and dragon scenes, but deep down, we see he's an insecure loser with zero morals or decency.

Manny Singh

E-mans arguments and takes are sooo basic af with a mix of straight trash LMAO

DeeJayyy

But that’s why she’s trash. She’s too weak lol. She needa stand on business for once. Not saying that she could change the war but she could at least gain the respect of her own children and council😂

Benj97s

She can't. She can stand on business all she wants. She literally cannot do anything now. She isn't Cersei, she isn't evil. She isn't gonna kill her own sons. That's the only alternative.

Jonathan Blaze

Alicent is now knowingly and willingly committing treason. Before she honestly thought she was in the right. Now she knows the truth she doubles down with Team Green and treason. Just another sin for her to pray over. Maybe she can redeem herself and at least try and do the right thing. We'll see. (The last scene was super tense and one of the best scenes ever in the GOT world) -* And Alicent didn't tell Rhaenyra "You're right". Alicent said "There was NO MISTAKE"! She said that twice.*

DeeJayyy

She might just be delusional😂🤷‍♂️. She wants to believe that she’s this sympathetic, moral high grounding person but in reality her true intentions might be dark. To me it’s a willful blindness /delusion (Alicent believing that Viserys actually told her that Aegon should be king) Or she’s really just that stupid. Or maybe like I just said she knows she could speak out against the war and she knows it’ll do little to help but I still WANT TO SEE HER TRY. I need to see her to try to gain the respect of her council and her children at any cost to try and prevent the war before changing my judgment. Or it’s like I said. A willful blindness/ delusion/ stupidness/ weakness or there are darker intentions.

Benny

Daemon is known as "your grace" because he's married to the Queen (Rhaenyra), which makes him the King consort. Same reason why Alicent is known as your grace. Also the dragon flying around was ser Laenor's (the gay dude) not Viserys's. Viserys was the last rider of Balerion the Black dread before it died, and because of that he had no interest in claiming another which I find really cool. Great reaction and discussion btw!

Benj97s

She'll try and get fail, she'll tell someone and before she knows it, someone else is dead but things be moving fast. Ppl want her to be Cersei so bad with dark evil intentions lol. A simple misunderstanding is far more believable and common that all these theories but hey, I guess we'll find out but I'm pretty sure the show will stick with the what they just showed with that final conversation with Rhae, which is a simple misunderstanding.

Grexoo

Allow me to direct you to notjustanime dot com, full metal alchemist brotherhood reaction episode 28, timestamp - 5:07

Kyōjurō Rengoku

If you rewatch the fight between the twins you will see that both the twins cut eachothers leg, i also thought it was bs until i rewatched it.

Manny Singh

Bro has the exact moment saved and time stamped lmao, imma go watch it!

Dizzy11

The old guy at Harrenhal made me think of Samwell Tarly after aging.

Eric Meekins

You used to call Kode “baby killer”, to answer your question lmao don’t ask me why I remember something like that

jgunna

Jody the dragon Rhaeynyra and that chick were speaking about was her 'dead' gay husband's dragon, Corly's son who's death they faked so he could run away and Rhaenyra could marry Daemon. Harrenhal being taken was for strategic value. Only Cole and Aemond knew how valuable as military strategists it would be and so did Daemon which is he went for it straight away
