Glad you guys enjoyed this episode. So many terrible moments throughout this episode. So through all of daemon haunting he still wants the throne n the army for himself it aint until a witch gives him a vision then he is suddenly team rhaenyra…… Helena suddenly has control of her visions and can see ur brothers death but she cant see her own sons death….what? I refuse to believe this is the same alicent from season1 she genially is ok with rhaenyra killing her kids n still wants peace with her after daemon killed her grandson…..not to mention she gives away what aemond is planning so she is effectively giving a cheat code in the show….when in the book daemon was the one to secure kings landing through cunning….. a very mix episode for a very mixed season…… Team Green is still winning the war and finally the blacks are assembling their armies

I'm just stopping and answering as I watch lol I think they should at least know about 6 dragons rahneras, her son, daemon, daemons daughter that flew down on criston Cole, everybody knew seasmoke had a rider and then the drunk that was telling everyone he had royal blood came flying back over the town.

Im stopping as im watching too they only know about 4 dragons for sure the queens, her son, daemon, and his daughter the crippled himself said when he walked in she has found 3 new dragon riders meaning seasmoke , vermathor , and silver wing which makes 7 and then he says what will you do when her 7 come

The dragon at 1:15:31 is Rhaenyra’s but EMAN misled you guys again by saying it’s daemons. This why he needs subtitles Jody, don’t let him gaslight you. This fool always be misleading man

I like Eman but now I see why the community gets on his back and he does it to himself. The fact he hates subtitles when he consistently makes incorrect calls and throws off Jody is his own fault just like in this example. For someone that can’t pick up on lines he should be the first one to prefer subs

I stayed up for this reaction specifically! EPIC! I'm just now seeing how perfect the casting was for younger and older Rhaenyra and Alicent. In that scene of them talking, I could quite literally see their younger selves so clearly.. Lets also talk about how Alicent got the biggest W after Rhaenyra... it might not play out how she wanted cuz Aegon is leaving Kings Landing and she did promise Rhaenyra his head but she took the risk, made the trip and basically sold out her entire family, just to do the right thing and set things straight. LOVED THAT FOR HER!! Her true self prevailed in this episode and we got to see what she wanted and knew was expected of her after she processed what she had done. TEAM ALICENT! She said 'come with me' and it took me back to season 1 when her and Rhaenyra both wanted to just run away together, ride on dragon back and eat cake all day. Really moving stuff!!!! It was my favorite scene after seeing Dany in the vision and Daemon bending the knee. Overall, not a great finale, it was very lacking but had GREAT moments. We wasted wayyyy too much time with Daemon and those dreams. That time spent could have given us a little bit of the war in this finale *crying*

Just finished the ep, yeah this was extremely disappointing. An entire season of BlueBalls. Two years waiting for this season, this is seriously CW levels of bad. I don’t expect this from HBO. The days of The Wire and The Sopranos are really dead and buried

I agree. The Daemon stuff was uber whack, but Allicent had a whole 360 in her character arc. Makes you wonder why BHO doesn't feel the same anymore. The agendas in media need to stop. Cancel culture has ruined our media and Hollywood. If this show came out in 2010, i GUARANTEE it would have been S TIER!

Yeah, the writing is BAD. No getting around that. They made sure to give us a TRANS outta KNOWHERE though! With no build up, in the LAST episode when we need things to happen!

The show is entertaining enough, but it's already clear it's no where near Thrones, in any area - characters, acting/cast, action, dragons, storytelling, dialogue and just overall memorable moments. All fails in comparison. I've adjusted my expectations

Reject that she was who was promised? They even told us in game of thrones when the high priests kinvara talked to Tyrion and Varys in Meereen. she said Daenerys was who was promised from the fire she was reborn to make the world. Plus when Danny meets the red witch in dragonstone she tells a her about the song of ice and fire. Danny says she’s not a prince then Missandei tells her that noun has no gender in high valayrian so it’s prince or princess

Playing devil's advocate. The writers strike at the time of production forced the showrunner/s to cut the season down to 8 episodes. They had to work with what little writing they could and which sucks because a major battle involving all the dragon riders was meant to be the big finale. Sucks. Now we wait another 2 bloody years.

Alicent's character was severely undermined by the “friendship” and “avoid bloodshed” narrative. By agreeing to open the gates for Rhaenyra, she effectively signed the death warrants of her father, brother, uncle, lover, 3 sons and entire Hightower line just to avoid the death of strangers (smallfolk). She is fully aware she can’t save Aemond who would fight to the end. Her indifference to Aegon’s death, despite having pushed him to become a King, was startling. More disturbing is her failure to protect her third son, Daeron who had no role in the war up until this point and is a likeable person. Rhae and her councilors will not spare him as he is a potential heir. Alicent failed to mention the death of her innocent grandson, when Rhae brought up “a son for a son”. It’s inconceivable that Alicent, known for her loyalty to her family, would sacrifice all her male relatives to save only herself, her daughter, and granddaughter. The narrative seemed to push the notion that men are the root cause of war and destruction, while women deserve to be saved and win. Not surprising for an episode written and directed by two women. Before y’all start attacking me, I am a woman too

Hope all those fans who told us to be “patient” are eating their words, now we bout to wait for another 2 years. So much for S1 being the build up to the “Dance of Dragons”....filler season.

I thought this was a great episode but a terrible season Finale. This felt like the episode that comes before the finale. They dragging tf out of these seasons. They could’ve given us what they’ll give us in season 3 in this season if it was 10 episodes and they cut out the unnecessary shit. We have to wait 2 years for the next season 🤦🏾‍♂️
