Eeeeeee😆😆😆😆 JiMin and those baby cheeks, tooo cute!!!😍🥰 They had no idea they'll be mega famous superstars, so precious!!

lexie

this was back when jimin had his big cheeks he was just a babyy~ like 16-17ish yrs old. he used to say he was insecure about it so he suffered alot with trying to lose his big cheeks by holding back on food, but honestly to me he was just a kid he looked cute regardless<3 and jungkook had JUST graduated middle school here. he was like 14 i think its crazyy. soo youngg

Lief

How you found this??!! Hahahah. The cutest of cute songs. It's about graduating from middle school lmao. This was even before their debut in 2013!!! Back then they released a lot of covers and self-written songs on their blog and youtube. It was all SUGA and RM's idea, trying to gain some attention before they debuted.

Lief

I can't wait for you to dive into BTS' albums at some point!! There's a lot more rap and even in their pop albums, the hiphop and r&b influence is always highlighted. Apart from their English singles, BTS has always put emphasis on their full albums and creating an experience from first to last song. The albums all really are an experience and each member shines a lot more, compared to when they more generally appeal in their Music Videos of their title tracks. There's also a lot more side songs that I think will be in your favourites list too once you hear them!! Their side songs are just so good.

Lief

I'd say "Love Yourself:Tear" from 2018 (a lot of r&b) and also "Dark&Wild" from 2014 (from their young hiphop era, but with a lot of oldschool r&b) are my favourite albums.

Xoxoree

This was their video for Jungkooks graduation from middle school.😂💛

Fetus BTS! 😂 So cute. But, Jody, for real, y'all gotta watch/listen to more of their music. Y'all always start talking about how the rappers don't get to shine but you really just don't know the extent of their music. Rap/hiphop has always been a part of every album. It's never not been there. It's just that from your perspective, you've seen mostly their pop/vocal heavy singles. But the real meat and potatoes of BTS' music is so much more. Pls, for the love of God and all that is good and holy,, watch this: https://youtu.be/FT930XF1vzA?si=J2Uq7lDyH3sU6Wb1 This is DURING a BTS concert where the rapline performs their stuff. Turn on captions!!! Also, Supreme Boi is featuring here...he's a rapper/producer who's been with them for years. And here's another you GOTTA see: https://youtu.be/dE68ZbmDi_A?si=n-o1M0w7OhnSWeZc called "Born Singer" which is a cover/remake of Born Sinner.

I can recite this entire song without knowing a lick of Korean although there are some rap line songs that I can’t wait for you guys to get into I agree that mainstream bts is pop and the vocal line REALLY stand out the most because like I said mainstream=pop for them at least :)

Mazouri Beasley

Also this isn’t to say that the rap line doesn’t like being in bts it’s just unfortunate that the amazing rap songs bts has isn’t showcased in the way the pop songs are I know for a fact you guys would love hip hop phile it’s a 2014 (I believe) masterpiece when you guys can react to this https://youtu.be/a_3KCRAYAFQ?si=JDY4sqfUdnOW1X0s it’s a live performance but it has subs😊

Cherish Poole

this video was out before they went to the u.s. for AHL. This video was released february 2013 and they were in the us the summer of 2014

Look at Jody coming through with the facts. (They did already renew their contracts). Welcome to the beginning and prepare for the adorable, the grounded and the inspirational in that journey.

Amaricymon'e

Yeah I think they have listened to maybe 20 songs and that's not even close to scratching the surface

Amaricymon'e

They haven't listened to the Cyprus yet or the mixtapes

Yennhi

Is a song about Jungkook middle school graduation he is 15 years old here AHL is when JK was 16. And yet jimin still has his cute baby fat he is 17 here so and when he gets older he lose his baby fat is completely normal teenagers things when they grew older they’re gonna lose teenagers features i’m about turning 19 but still didn’t get to that fase yet i want to lose baby fat so bad but i think i will be miss it when i’m in my twenties bcuz it the reason makes my face look youthful but i also want to have defined jawline now

Yennhi

Rap for BTS has never been behind over the years. Every year there is a good album song or performance that proves BTS's backbone is still rap. Compared to many other kpop boy groups, among all KPOP groups, One of things that make bts different and stand out is because BTS unique is about rap and the rap is still Number 1 in kpop and that they are real rappers who writes the raps and also produce it and the vocal line can also do it BTS are called ARTIST not like many group just sing and dance and being just idols who get their music from companies and don't get involved in the process of creating their own music and have members who take on the role of rapping in short songs with rap but not their own lyrics and that's called idol rapper who bts isn't like that what makes them really different if they focus in pop like other group just being an idol( just a performer entertainment) not a artist BTS would never be what they're are right now They're so talent they top good at being an idol an artist vocalist rappers dancers and entertainment thats why they the biggest group for a reason.

Lief

There's so much, I just personally would like them to see a BTS album to get even better in touch with what they do as a group. And Cypher pt 3 is on Dark&Wild!

Lief

@Jody, I'm just suggesting randomnly for sometime in the future! As you know, just keep to your own planning, I know you're already full with Suchwita and live performance suggestions 🤍

Yennhi

OMG Jody i really recommend the video that she put above there https://youtu.be/FT930XF1vzA?si=NY4RoJx7BGGjNFcp is one of my favorites live performance. You should watch it 2x when you react to it. the first time no subtitle so you can all focus on the song and the performs the stage expression and most important the RAP FLOW and Rhythm. Korean is not your first language so is hard to heard there rhymes and words play but hey music goes beyond language barrier second time rewatch it with subtitles so you could know the lyrics and understand what they’re saying

Jodys Corner

Im learning! .... at a snail's pace, but i'm getting there. Lol

Jodys Corner

I will keep this in mind Lief. You want an album review/reaction. Is "love yourself" an album?

Jodys Corner

Someone DMd me the very first mv that goes all the way uo to their most current mv IN ORDER

Lief

"Love yourself" is an album series, consisting of 3 seperate albums. The first is "Her", the second is "Tear" and the third is "Answer". I recommend the second album "Love yourself: Tear". It is darker themed, and they speak about hiding their true selves, and was during a time when they were thinking about quitting. You know the MAMA speech in 2018 when they all started crying, and j-hope was sobbing? They spoke about the time of this album.

Lief

Thank you Jody :) Hope you and E-man are doing well!!

Chlo

The rapline killed it in their Yet to Come concert in Busan 2022 also. Please react to it, the whole set from start to finish was awesome ! BTS really went out with a bang before military. 💜

Chlo

Love Yourself:Tear is my favourite💜

.

Puffy Jimin😭 he had the most chubby cheeks it was so cute

Queen

Baby BTS are so cute🥰…I still think that Jody & E-man have to watch the “BTS hardships video by xCeleste” for them to understand the rapline lyrics a little more.
