Nooo you are not done😭there’s one more Jungkook episode. But yea I just want to saw that unfortunately the whole “work work work no rest” environment that BTS was in is not a kpop thing. It’s unfortunately an all of Korea thing. Korea has a crazy work culture and they have one of (if not) the highest suicide rates in the world because of that. Their kids (most of them) go to school from like 8/9:am - 10pm and then when they actually get into college and get a job it’s just non stop working. Their culture thinks working themselves to the bone is a way to archive results. Anyways though I’m glad they are getting to a place where they finally feel comfortable. And yes they definitely renegotiated their contract, but don’t be fooled it definitely would’ve been easy for them to leave their company if they actually wanted to. BLACKPINK has done it when it comes to their solo work as well as a group called GOT7 and those r groups from 2 of the “big three companies” in kpop.

Melissa Torres

I believe it was the media who was there when jhope got out..well more media than fans

Nicole♡♡

Jins album is already out jody And they asked for the fans not to come during their training time but for their release they called the press themselves lol You have to watch what jin did when he was release. He "fought" with the company because he wanted to hug 3000 army when he got out and after some convincing they let him hug 300 but he said it wasn't enough at the end 🤣🤣

lira

I believe in general amry respected BTS wishes (like with jin); a small fraction of army showed up. you can see the difference between the ones who showed up outside the military and the ones outside hybe bulding. unfortunately in every big fandom/groups there are all kind of people and mentality

Michelle James

I think Jin hugged 1000 people, the company was trying to make him do 300 but he put his foot down on this one

Michelle James

And I thought Jin’s album is coming out in November his pre-release track “I’ll be there” came out tho

Michelle James

Jody you and Eman reacted to “Tear” from the rapline? When did that happen, now I want to see it and see your response 😂.

Tasha C.

You are right!!

Chlo

Awesome reaction! You missed the extra bit at the end where they mentioned 'In the soop' being 90% edited out and how they want to go on a trip without cameras.

Keyz J.

I don't think they did...i dont recall, unless they posted and deleted it....I even even went back and looked and couldn't find anything.

Fifi

Yea I don’t recall them reacting to it and I’ve been here pretty much since they started

Fifi

When did y’all react to “tear” lol I can’t find it

Amanda Michelle

There's no way they've reacted to Tear...unless they've done it but just not uploaded yet. I've been waiting and requesting since day 1 for them to react to the rapline. Jody here's a link to Tear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDuaJGYe8EQ And here's the link for a medley of Cyphers 1,2, and 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT930XF1vzA Come on, guys, satisfy your viewers who've been FEENIN' for you to see what the rapline actually does! LOL! Truly, ARMIES love the rapline portion of concerts...everybody goes friggin WILD!

Chia Sano

Lovely reaction. I personally think showing up when a celebrity asks you not to isn't them trying to get people to come, but I think it does show them who their real fans are vs those who are fans of the idea of them. Mostly the large crowds of people when they discharge are media (like vultures) because the toxicity in kpop idol culture is normalized. Also, welcome to why people appreciate V and Suga's relationship. He is such a unique egg. Also, I think the Jin 'rock' thing was a semi-spoiler, however the Astronaut song he did, was a song he did with Coldplay so technically it is considered like...alt or soft rock.

Lief

Since you asked if you missed anything hahahha, but looking forward to a poll

Zaria Weber

Watch Jin new Music Video for his song “I’ll Be There “ it definitely have a rock vibe to it

K

Army did not say “there was thought of them breaking up”(MAYBEsome of them did idk but I’m speaking in general) bc in 2018 every army knows how stressed bts were to the point where they wanted to disband. Bts struggled a lot and throughout all that they’ve always kept their word that’s why armys are so confident bts won’t break up. Is it possible? Absolutely but we have to learn to trust their words as fans bc they can’t tell us everything and they shouldn’t. I feel this is why ppl feel so deeply connected to bts. Ofc they are eventually gonna stop doing music n get married n all that beautiful stuff but for now we should trust their word💜 (ps don’t forget to always watch till the video is done bc sometimes they have extra clips)

Sherifa Shush231

Hey guys I saw the notification for this while I was driving and started screaming FINAAAAALY! so happy you got to see this! If I could suggest anything it would be The Rise of Bangtan series, its on youtube and i could watch ppl reacting to it a million times and not get bored. Its soo good especially since you guys enjoyed American Hustle Life I think you would enjoy TRoB (the rise of bangtan) Borahae!

Maeee

I'll never understand company stans lmao

.

I really admire tae a lot. Ugh they need to free my man. Also y’all should totally do the suchwita episode with txt members yeonjun and taehyun. U get to see suga with their juniors/non bts members and it’s an interesting dynamic. He got yeonjun very drunk lmao https://youtu.be/FuF6gBiAJkE?si=kDiL-4Si2PG5QKjx

Okay so about your question how about army showing up at jhope releasing? is complety normal and not any members say about that neither did hybe so i don’t know why you guys get offensive about this or maybe got an misunderstanding thing A discharge day is ofc coming with the celebration of fan’s family and also people that know bts coming show their love so is really different from when they enlisted because at the enlisted is a day not only them but also many other soldier gonna enlisted so if many fans showing could cause chaos cuz there’s is also family member of those guys are well that’s why Fact Actually in the whole idol enlistment incident, only army was the fandom in kpop that didn't come much on the day of enlistment as you can see when the last 4 members also enlisted and of course there were still Korean journalists coming because it was unavoidable I'm worried about where you got the information from to say that because on the enlistment day there was also a topic praising army on social forums in Korea the source was from the journalist there was even a clip from the journalist that day because when they were there there was almost no army and they listened to BTS so much and on Jin and Jhope's discharge recently it was normal for army and relatives to come to congratulate them on their discharge but did the members say they didn't want fans to come? On Jin's day the members who were still in the army even asked for permission to come and there were many people who weren't fans and staff's families who also came and most recently Jhope even the boy in Jhope's mv Neuron came early in the morning to welcome Jhope so I think you're misunderstanding right? And on discharged day of course having a warm welcome is the best thing a fan can do for their idol and army gave them a grand welcome at Hybe company headquarters when the bts member car arrived there too

Lief

I agree some parts with you, but just to add on. HYBE and the boys have always asked to refrain from coming to the military camps, it wasn't different for the discharge. Despite that, still a handful of people showed up at the camp (some crazy fans and local people). But it's never been more than like 10-20 people, so on average that's really really really little amount of people that didn't listen. The rest of ARMY listened, and (like you said) instead held an gathering next to HYBE building where there was crowd control and cordoned off areas. I think maybe Jody saw that crowd! But that was safely organised and was all in good faith. Those ARMYs didn't even plan to see J-Hope there, because they always enter the buidling with blacked-out cars from a back enterance. But ARMY just had fun on their own with a little party outside the building and showed support for J-Hope that we missed him and that we're happy he's out. 💜

Jodys Corner

They were told not to come. They came anyway. That is all im saying. Im not confused @yennhi

VancityGal

I hope they do. They deserve that and so much more.

VancityGal

So, Jin's album comes out on Nov 15th. From the pre-release track called I'll be there for you, it seems that the album will have a pop rock theme. Many of us Army are super excited, as this is the route we wanted jin to go in. His powerful vocals will be perfect on some rock tracks.

VancityGal

Suggestion: Since y'all think rap line are underutilized and unappreciated, let's get your appreciation on for them. It's time to truly delve into rap line. There are so many great songs that you guys are missing out on. Also, please continue on with Rise of Bangtan series. Thanks

VancityGal

I genuinely think you guys haven't reacted to Outro: Tear yet. I've been waiting for that and so many more rap-line reactions. Please react to the Wembley Stadium live version. Perhaps you reacted to something else where some wayward "Armys" said there was no breakup. Any true Army knows that Tear was written about and for the members when they were thinking of disbanding cuz they couldn't take the pressure anymore. It's one of my favorite BTS songs of all time.

VancityGal

I understand what you guys are saying about V showing off his vocal range and I would have totally agreed in the past but the more I evolve as a singer, the more I have learned to appreciate the deeper tones too. I think, at least in the West, we think the epitome of vocal ability is hitting those high notes. It took me many years of vocal lessons to shed myself of that notion. I'm a singer that loves to belt out high notes, and I used to think "Are you even a good singer if you don't do that in every song?" But my vocal coach has taught me to appreciate so much more vocally than just that. It has made me a better singer. And, with the Layover album, of course I was a little bummed that he didn't show off his range a little more, but, I think this melodic soulful vibe without too much variation was a conscious choice by V. I could listen to it all day and not get tired. To me that makes it an album that I'll reach for over even my biases album. Also, not to be snooty but just because you were wondering, an octave is one set of 8 notes consisting of Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti Do. So, if someone has a 7 octave range, from the lowest to the highest note they can sing there are seven sets of those 8 notes.

Cherish Poole

told not to come to the enlisting not the discharge

Maeee

And IU's!(not for getting drunk lol) Love Yoongi's show, it's so fun.

Moon

V dont need to always hit highnotes and stuff like jimin an jk do, V likes calm and jazzy music, where highnotes dont always fit the song or vibe he is going for. But by no means be mistaken about his vocal range. V have the biggest/widest vocal range in bts, and that is a known fact. He is a natural baritone, so he can go way lower than the other members, but he can also go just as high as jimin an jk can. I would reccomend watching V's solo performance of "Stigma", to see some of his highnotes. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KgA1TK76ME

this is so late of a comment but i just want to say that bang pd (not big bang like you’re calling him jody 😂 big bang is an older legendary kpop group) is incredibly disliked by any army with common sense. he is insanely selfish, only doing things to gain money without a single care for his artists. BTS were treated like work slaves. they were exhausted, there were times when they were put on such extreme diets that jimin literally had such an unhealthy relationship with food for a while, overworked and not given a single day to rest. the fact that taehyung said he asked for ONE day off and that was declined? is insane. i have no clue why so many new army and even some old ones hold bang pd, bighit and now Hybe at such a high status and act like he could do no wrong and that the company is faultless. it’s so wild to me when you hear how much bts suffered and now how all the other artists under the label are suffering. yet you have people being die hard fans for bang pd and the agency. bts may not be struggling as much now that they ARE bigger than the agency and can demand better treatment but the company has only gotten worse and it is reflected in all the other groups in hybe/big hit.
