Ok so....Having a wrong opinion doesn't necessarily equate to being "real" . The reason that alot of fans had an issue with Sofia Carson (who is of colombian descent not black) and decided not to stream Slow Dance wasn't not because of her skin color ,but because they found out that she was allegedly a zionist. Now not all army's agreed with that decision, but some did and stood on that. Like I said before there's nothing wrong with opinions when they come from a place of being informed, but when you just make statements that are just blatantly untrue and people get upset about it. You paint it as "people not being able to accept the real" .Which isn't always the case. There are always going to be some ignorant army that are mad about dumb shit like her touching jhope, but that doesn't speak to the majority, it just doesn't. There are sour grapes in every batch.

I wouldn’t say this is the first time jimin acted like this with a women but we could all feel the intimacy during this performance it was amazing!! Also people didn’t stream slow dancing bc she’s was I think a Zionist and kpop fans support Palestine a lot and that’s part of the reason they boycott. They've done collabs with women that were received perfectly well. Tae was only in the video for Love wins all with IU, and army ran that song up, yoongi with halsey,RM and bts with Meg the stallion army ran up, jhope with Becky g, even Right now Jins new song with an Artist named Wendy , Army are giving the most praise. Do you realize how many new fans have joined since 2019...alot of people didn't even know about that red carpet moment with Sofia to even make a judgement based on that.

Hi, thank you for your reaction. I believe she is nice and I don't see any problem with her (I didn't know of the carpet thing), and I agree with you that Jimin or any other bts member or artist should be able to have any kind of relationship without the input of anybody. but I think in this occasion you are being a little unfair. Social post comments for me are often from the more fanatic and unreasonable fans and don't reflect what most believe. As for the song on spotify: the album got dropped less than four months ago, if all army or even the majority wanted to boicot her there wouldn't be more than 50 million listenings, which means at least 400.000 different spotify accounts listening to that song once a day. My second favourite song in Muse is rebirth actually but I listen to it once a day because I listen to a lot of other songs. BTS discography is huge huge and I don't believe I'm doing a disservice to Jimin because I listen to his songs once a day. I really enjoy your reaction and as soon as I got the notification I had to see it, but I'm giving you my opinion, without disrespecting yours of course. I hope it didn't appear differently

Wow i love this song, jimin and sophia killed this. I agree with u jody on what u said. In an interview with weverse the producer of this song pdogg said that they cast sophia bcz of her voice and also she could dance and may be in future we could expect jimin and her dancing to this song. She flew to korea to record this and went back again. Jimin and her had great resprct and appreciation for each other. Thanks for reacting to this guyz.

Yeah Jody I agree with every word you said. Sophia Carson is simply a fan and toxic Army are effed up. I think you're right in that the numbers for Slow Dancing are proof enough. I love the song and I love that jimin performed this LIVE with her. Seems like he wanted to put some Armies in their place. LOL! I love what Eman said at the end there about staying positive.. that is exactly BTS's message and has always been so. I haven't listened to her other stuff and can't comment on why people aren't streaming this because I don't know the history, but her voice is amazing here! I think the Kpop industry is just like this, definitely no indication of Jimin being gay because he dresses/acts a certain way (not saying he is or not, cause who knows and Idc). I think he at least likes women, but we may never know and that's fine. Also Imma be real, dips in the paying people might be people just here for BTS, and if there isn't a lotta BTS stuff around that time then they'll probably stop paying for a bit ( that's what I do on occasion.) Nothing has to do with how real you guys are for me. I think it's good to be real, but also accept that you're not right all the time and when you critique the fan base they are def gonna have something to say about it. I hope the community stays civil and is able to just have those disagreements without any attacks.

Ok. I just heard about the boycott stuff but tbh, I think boycotting is a bunch of BS. Not consuming a product because a business or celebrity supports something you don't like doesn't actually do anything of significance to harm that business or celebrity. Loved the reaction! This is definitely one of my favorites off the album. They sound great together. No matter what army’s reason is that it is lowest viewed I do believe that Jimin would be upset by it and if your real army you should support his choices and music.

Hi Jody, There is a problem that goes beyond what they you talked here, and has to do with the political conflicts between palestine and israel for which a large number of fans have boycotted many of the boys' projects for a long time, and this is something that still happens. Although it is something that I can understand, I do not support it because as you mentioned, it is something that directly affects them, but there are so many people in this fandom that it is inevitable to agree with everything that is done. I love the whole set-up of this live performance!! The skyline of Seoul, and the change from day to night. Jimin looking and sounding like an angel as always, I couldn't expect anything else, he's just so special. And the song "Slow Dance" I enjoyed more in the live set-up. For me, the song is not my favourite of the album, I can't get into the sound of Sophia's voice, she's a good singer, it's an amazing written song, I just think in the studio-version her sound breaks up the song in a way I don't enjoy. I did have it in my streaming playlists the first month, because I show support to Jimin and the boys regardless. But it's not in my daily playlist now. I think I've got very different taste from you two, because like, from this album my favourite song is "Rebirth". Which is actually the real least streamed song on the album with 44 million streams, but I don't have influence over other people's tastes. And also RM and V's albums are some of my favourites of all time and I can't get through a day without listening to them. WhiIst those albums are less your cup of tea.

I also think in the large sphere of things, this is not that big of a deal. Ofcourse I can't speak on Jimin's feelings. But we're not talking about brutal and unfair numbers. Having 50+ million streams for every song on your album is an great feat, and it's in fact a very succesful album. That the title songs (Who & Smeraldo Garden) receive more streams is a given, since they get more promotion. I really hope he feels proud of himself, knowing the album is well-received as an whole.

I brought up the Sophia issue during your MUSE album reaction, so comments, come at me! As others have mentioned, a lot of the fandom is actively boycotting zionists. Many have avoided BTS' content on Disney+ for that reason. I didn't know, but if Sophia is a public zionist, then that makes a lot of sense. Previously, I just said that I got weird vibes from her overall online presence, and I also said at the time of her photobomb of BTS at the 2019 BBMA's, most armys marked it with "haha that's weird" and made jokes. It didn't have anyting to do with her being a woman, photobombing on a red carpet is just a bit goofy. I think so in any happening of photobombs. Apart from the core ARMYs who were active on twitter in 2019, I don't think many people know about that, or just see it as a joke. I forgot she even existed. Only when she popped up for the collab, I recognized her face. At the time it was just a fun fact I wanted to share with you guys 🤭🫣

So interesting here, is that the stats on Apple Music are very different than the stats on Spotify when it comes to listening to Jimin's songs. In fact, Slow Dance is in the list of top songs from the Muse album. I always find that interesting. Also, the moment EMan said he wanted you to be careful because he cares about your financial well being was such a sweet moment that actually exposed how much ya'lls friendship is genuine. It is also lovely to see how ya'll really care about supporting BTS in this journey. Honestly, there are so many misconceptions you all had when you first started that you organically learned were wrong and things are just fine. I think some of the pushback you all receive is...like ya'll aren't trying to be kpop stans or join kpop fan culture. You are music fans who learned to like BTS and want to keep listening to them. Many people comment based on what they think they are seeing and not exactly what you all are saying because you'll say 'not all, but many of ARMY' and someone will comment about 'army doesn't do that, only a small group'. Or 'I really like the song, it was dope, but I think he could do more' and people will go 'Why do you hate this person, they did amazing'. Some people are so used to interacting online, they really can't see how their words can come across as negative even if they mean well. Hopefully ya'll find a comfort zone that works fo you all.

I unsubscribe from Patreon when my money gets tight, but mainly when there’s a long period of no BTS posts, because what am I paying for at that point, then I resubscribe after a good amount of bts content is uploaded so I can binge/watch over time getting my moneys worth, ik yall got yall own families and other stuff to take care of outside of this just like us viewers which can cause a dip in bts content uploaded and likewise a dip in the amount of paid subscribers on here, with all due respect to save money sometimes I end my subscription when there is a significantly long time without bts content to not waste money, I’ll always comeback after about 2 months if there’s a good amount of posts

Just to clarify, there believed the rumor that Sofia was the type of Zionist who supports the genocide in Palenstine. There is alot of misinformation that has happened over the last year that some solos also weaponized and it became less about morality and more about who is getting more views. Same I subscribed to Jody Patreon for a year now and I unsubscribed about once but I always come back the next month when I see new content from BTS to binge it. It saves me money because it's hard for teenager like me to pay that amount of money regularly every month but so far I've been following for 13 months and unsub for 1 month but if the content isn't enough that month then I might unsub in the future to save money but I'll always come back because I like Jody's reactions and watch for BTS. I'm going to respect that you've never brought politics to your reactions here, and just focus on the informative. There is an entire side of ARMY that is filled with racists, bigots, and homophobes. Lately because of how many young people are online in the fandoms, misinformation and feeding of people trying to sow discord spreads like wildfire, but I have seen the unfortunate pics of firearms with BTS character stickers on them and other horrific things because people know slapping 'bts' or 'army' on a post will bring attention to it. So, I do know over the last year it has impacted alot of numbers across various artists and I hope people find paths to peace that don't include harm to innocents. But in kpop circles, alot of people's identity is attached to the artists they idolize and just like with influencers so they often project or try to demand certain behaviors. At the end of the day, like with all media, the decision to watch or listen is a personal/individual thing and shouldn't be expected of others unless they have asked for your advice.

It may not be intentional but because tone doesn't translate well over text, it comes across as trying to tell Jody, a grown man, how he should say or phrase things and not as much as informing him of something wrong. He isn't a fellow kpop stan and he isn't really a peer we know well like that. I think in alot of these comment sections patrons are calling scolding Jody for his tone or how he shares his thoughts, keeping it real. I think that is what I keep seeing. Most grown men that I know have no desire to be told what to do by people who aren't their parents or spouses and will knee jerk react to it as it comes across as disrespect. In kpop communities, I have noticed people don't feel as strongly in the same way.

So its just that right there, the comment 'don't say it like it's true' comes across as telling him what to do. Does that make sense? When someone, who might have a point, uses words like 'don't', it is saying to me, what they think I should or shouldn't do. Culturally, if I spoke to adults like that in my culture, I might have someone try to fight me. There are many many things they said months back based on their opinions at that time, that have changed. And they even reference that. But you can't rush that process for anyone even if you know the truth and they don't yet. Again, just trying to offer a perspective because I'm starting to see what seems like some of ya'll and Jody talking past one another in a way that I really think is miscommunication which starts to make one or both sides feeling attacked. I hope it helps, because I don't see malice but I am starting to see misunderstandings.

Not asking you to take anything back. Was addressing what seems to be a point of frustration for some. I just think there is a difference in opinion/communication styles here. It doesn't have to make sense? However Jody and his friends decide to approach exploring BTS content or reacting to other things is kinda up to them? How people choose to share their opinions and reactions only has to make sense to them. Either people will vibe with it or not. I've never thought or felt that their opinions, especially the ones based on assumptions based on a lack of knowledge, were being presented as fact. I've never taken it that way because they use alot of 'I think' and 'It seems' language and even when they are very wrong, I know what is true and if there is a chance to educate I'll take it. I'm here to observe and educate where appropriate, not correct or call out.

they boycotted the song. they don't mind doing it because its jimin. he has a lot of haters in the so called "armys". he's one of the most popular members if not the most popular. and unfortunately that comes with having a lot of people being against you. even from his own company. I don't believe the hate for sophia came from her just being a beautiful girl (maybe from korean armys as theyre weird about that shit) but just weaponizing her after the whole photoshoot incident and then throwing the Zionist thing way out of proportion. It's ANYONE who collabs with bts that gets the cancel culture treatment. they dont let people enjoy music without trying to make them all seem like evil people. its very odd.

i cannot say who specifically but there is something going on. Especially around his first album release. He was told no to making music videos for all of his songs but yet they let Tae do it instead. Why say yes to one member and no to the other? His first album barely had any spotlight compared to the other members projects during that time. You'll see JK had reacted to a lot of Jimin's promotional stuff on his livestreams and in my personal opinion, I believe it's because he knew Jimin kinda got the short end of the stick. His company doesn't always recognize his achievements on social media. There is also the Weverse magazine that they released that did not give Jimin his recognition for getting number 1 on bb. Just so many things. And going all the way back to when the group formed, how Jimin was almost kicked out of bts over ten other times. I just think the company never thought Jimin would be so popular and do so well in the group that he was intentionally overshadowed. I will say I am happy that the new CEO was one of the ladies who helped Jimin stay in the group.
