You guys forget that choreo is not always included in a music video, especially when they're primarily focused on the artistic elements. Remember that there are always LIVE performances where groups will dance throughout a song. So there IS A DANCE PRACTICE. And the dance practice for this song is smooth and sexy, IMO.

They have dance practices just like BTS. Watch some of their dance practices I'm an army and a Atiny (Ateez Fandom). Some of them look up to BTS and they can definitely dance!!

You can't see their choreography in their mvs. Like many groups the choreography is in the dance practice. Ateez have a huge and complex storyline so their mvs focus on that instead of choreography. These guys are known as monster performers and have 4/8 main dancers. I recommend to check out the dance practices after the mvs or vice versa. You could do that thing again where you watch the dance practice first and guess the mv. I'm a huge Armytiny so tell me what kind of music y'all prefer and I'll give you some suggestions. I feel like y'all might like Take Me Home or Silver light or Selfish Waltz which are B sides, so no mvs but they're popular in the fandom as synth songs. Ateez does like every genre so let me know Jody. E-man needs to see a dance practice because Ateez is probably one of the few groups that has no weak dancers, not one. Glad you guys are feeling the music! The mv doesn't focus much on the choreo so no worries there, if you guys want to see the dance a lot more clearly you'll probably have to watch the dance practice since this mv was more for the cinematography. Also, probably a controversial opinion but I think NCT and Seventeen have the best choreo as far as kpop goes. I enjoy them more than I do most of bts choreos (and I love bts). Neither group has a weak dancer either they all range from great to decent and don't stand out in a negative way. I think you'd enjoy NCT more musically though than Seventeen but I'd be down to watch either of those groups on your channel along with Ateez if you keep them on the roster.

y’all should’ve watched the dance practice if you wanted to see more of the choreography. every kpop group has dance practices for their songs. the same way y’all do when reacting to bts watch the dance practice then the mv because even they don’t include a shit ton of choreo in their music videos when they are primarily focusing on the visuals and concept of the mv. ateez are phenomenal dancers and this choreography was SMOOTH ASL if you see it in full. it’s kinda unfair to say the choreography was dog sh*t if you barely even saw it .. hopefully next time you include the dance practice or even react to the dance practice to ice on my teeth and post a separate reaction bcs i would love to see you actually see them dance. they are one of those groups who has NO weak dancer. everyone is keeping up with energy, facial expressions and delivery. they are highly looked up to for their stage presence, dancing and insane energy live.

it’s unfair to say an entire choreography is shit when only being presented with two seconds of the dance, is all i’m saying. ateez are known for their dance skills and choreography as they work with a dance crew bb trippin that makes amazing choreographies for ateez and the members also participate. they do prioritize dance, it is one of their main qualities that garnered them so much attention pre-debut ! they went viral for their dancing alone before anyone knew anything about them. but in music videos they have a storyline they have had since their very first mv that carries through all mv’s they come out with so they don’t incorporate choreography clips into the actual mv as much. they storytell, give lore and focus on the artistic aspects of the video. they really show you their energy and sick dance choreography in their dance practices so hopefully we can see you two react to their dance practices ! their routines are very far from lacking and as i said they have no weak dancer, they all could be main dancers ! 💖

We seen 3 MVs. If the choreo isnt highlighted in 3 MVs, then it says choreo aint their bread and butter. You yiurself said they dont focus on choreo. (And it shows) so why cant we (Eman) say its trash? Its his opinion.

blackpink, bts and nct 127 do, do everything well which is why they are all my top groups as well as the rest of nct. but so does ateez which is why they are among the top kpop groups of the new generation. they just have lore lmaooo. i didn’t mean to offend you with my comment lol i am subbed here bcs of your honest reactions again, i just was saying ateez are great dancers and wanted you two to see a dance practice to see that. idk why this is feeling very much like you’re coming at me or saw my comment negatively?? and being defensive but that was not my intention at all. 😭

I agree with you! When you mentioned the choreo, thinking back (having seen many kpop award shows for bts), I've never really been imensely impressed with their choreo. Although I've seen they're really good dancers, because they've covered BTS' choreos and did those well. Maybe it's the choreographers that make the choreo that just miss the mark, maybe I'd say they're trying to be too trendy or tik-tok dance friendly with this choreo. I wouldn't say trash hahahah but that's just you guys, but it's definitely not the most appealing to my eye. ( I see other people saying to watch the dance practices, but I don't think it's worth it.) Besides that, the song and MV is cool, trendy and produced pleasantly. It's cool.

I love BTS but I'm also overjoyed when they check out a different group and see what else K-pop has to offer. My ults are BTS and Ateez so this is amazing for me. Both groups also come from humble beginnings so I respect tf out of these groups.

They aren't saying to not comment on their dancing, they're saying you shouldn't judge without seeing their dance abilities. Their mvs are about their storyline so you don't get much choreography. That's why we want you guys to see their dance practices and then you can share your thoughts and nobody can say it's not valid.

Definitely I hundred percent get that and I appreciate the positive take BTS always be fundamental thing they react to but trying new groups out and giving people and potential new fan base to join in is always welcome and for jody and Eman to enjoy what talent and music they provide 🔥💯🙏🏽

exactly, thank you !!! ♡ i don’t know why my comment of all of them got misinterpreted the way that it did when half of the comments are saying the same thing. groups make a separate video to show the dance in it’s entirety for a reason. the music videos are never dance centered when there is a story to be told and ateez’s lore is very important in their mv’s.

RMB all K-pop groups have dance practices btw this is one of my fav groups I just feel like you can’t find a group like them anywhere that’s what I like about K-pop awesome and what gravitated me towards. It is the fact that each group has their own sound. In my opinion there’s no group that sounds exactly the same. And honestly, this is one of my favorite choreographies in K-pop.

So, my introduction to Ateez WAS actually an amazing dance video (no singing, just dance) and it made me interested. I then saw a live performance of Inception, and they did a lovely job with the Choreo and all the performance. But when I started to watch their MVs, I quickly figured out that if I did not know what they were capable of...I may not have dug deeper. I recently attended an Ateez concert because a friend of mine is a huge fan...and I finally got it. They shine in person, live and etc. They are not in my list of top omg amazing groups, but I can acknowledge their hard work and talent. Like all groups they have layers, but when exploring new genres or artists...first impressions are hard to shake. Not impossible, but challenging. It is okay for Jody and Eman to have things they like to see in kpop/boy band stuff (not even comparing to BTS, because BTS doesn't just do kpop), and to point out that for them something like choreo or costuming or styling just didn't hit. They might one day find a song/MV from Ateez that makes them go 'okay, wow'. That's why when people go on these journeys it is so interesting to see.

Too repetitive for me. Beat was ok but I am into lyrics first. I can't find another group that does not sound the same in every song. BTS for me every song sounds different and that is what makes them special. I have tried listening to other groups just don't do it for me. I know the live performances is where you will see the full choreography just like BTS live would be better. Enhypen and TXT have a few songs I do like. Taemin solo also has some great songs solo. I recommend Taemin Advice, Criminal and guilty to start.

Same, most kpop songs have very basic lyrics so I need something that’s v fun and not too repetitive otherwise it’ll be boring if the lyrics are also very simplistic

To be fair Ateez has a lot of songs with a lot meaning. This is the first time they did a more rap heavy song that is about showing off. Usually their songs are focused on vocals and then their rappers also have a chance to shine. This isn't my favorite title track of theirs, but it was picked for the catchiness. I prefer their more meaningful songs like: Enough Turbulence Answer Thanxx The Real Youth Empty Box Sunrise Take Me Home Fever Wave Better Dreamy Day This World Wake up Utopia Celebrate Dreamers Limitless Not Okay Horizon Twilight And there's many more. I don't think you've heard enough of their discography if you think it sounds the same. I'm ARMY too, but there are other groups who are just as talented.

I love Ateez tbf !! BTS are my main love but they are dope some of their other MV have more dancing. Their concept in their music videos are dope. Also love their concept as completely different to BTS

Hey i hope this helps you understand better the ATEEZ concept 😊 First the name is pronounced ei-tease or 8-teez and the name comes from A teenager z like what a teenager would go through from A to Z They are mostly referred to as performers than idols because of their duality in stage They are pirates its their concept and also why we call the leader captain instead They have a story line on their music videos and they always connect ( they often put spoilers at the end of the music videos) They don't dance a lot in the music videos because they are telling a story but as someone who was in their concert a week ago i can tell you they are amazing dancers Two of them were trainees in bighit and were almost part of TXT and still are friends Most of them are ARMY and look up to bts and even had covers They went viral even before debut with a dance videos (kq fellas i think) they didn't even had a name yet Like bts they also have a mini series where they whent to the us to train dancing I hope this helps and i hope you watch a guide video to learn more about them 😊 Thanks for the reaction
