Christopher's father was Dickie Moltisanti he was a cousin actually of Carmela's. Dickie was a mentor of Tony's when he was a teenager, Tony has known Christopher his whole life so he considers him a nephew. There is a prequel to the Sopranos that came out two years ago called Many Saints of Newark it depicts Tony as a teenager and, he's played by James Gandolfini's real son Michael. Dickie appears in that show along Junior, Sylvio, and Tony's parents.

When ya'll get through the series you should watch The Many Saints of Newark. It's a prequel movie about a bunch of these characters set in the 1960's. So you see a young Tony (played by Michael Gandolfini, Tony's son irl), a young uncle Junior, Dickie Moltisanti, etc etc. But definitely don't watch it before you've finished this show because it'll spoil a couple things for this show.

Superman+ E-Man + The Sopranos= 🔥. Like you said the main reason why Tony gave the power to Uncle is because of NY even though some of them feel like he's to old. Tony is smart though and he's always plotting something. Not to mention he loves and respects his Uncle. Another solid episode that y'all both like which is 4/4 so far overall for the show.

Well in this show Mikey got pieced up and stapled. No one ever said this was a 1:1 adaptation of all your favorite mob moments. It’s after their heyday and things run differently

I've watched and rewatched Sopranos for years. Christopher is one of my favorites. Michel Imperioli who plays Christopher actually wrote and directed some episodes.

They fight. They are criminals. But they keep 1 on 1 so others don't see. But yes whoever puts there hands on a made man get killed. No explusion they suppose to be killed. And there is no expulsion in the mob. You can get shelved and you still have to answer to someone. And that person can be taken off the shelf and he is acknowledged again. But this does work for hitting a made man. Suppose to be killed as long as no witnesses or complained to the boss. One informant said they knew some had fights. Even in the club 2 made men had an argument then went into another room fought and came out bloodied. But kept it to themselves.

No but he was shot by a future mob boss Chin Gigante, for Vito Genovese who was trying to take over. And even though he did not die Vito succeeded and Vito Genovese became boss, because Costello told him he can have it. Costello was shelved and when they were in prison together they made up. When Costello was released, Genovese sent a message that Costello was off the shelf but rank as a soldier. But he was to be left alone. This is known because of illegal wiretaps transcripts by the fbi on a boston mob boss who was talking about Costello and Genovese.
