Most of the idols in Korea are PC because of their culture, they get cancelled for stupid sh*t like smoking or dating, which is pathetic. BTS got a lot of heat for their song 'War of Hormone' bcoz of the lyrics but in the US & UK etc. that song could probably be on a kids tv show with how tame it is compared to the music we produce in the West. A lot of pressure was put on RM being the leader and one of the main writers and producers of BTS, he probably felt trapped, trying to do what's best to conform to the society around them but also "leveling up" in the music industry and beating the odds. I'm thankful that BTS powered through the hate and criticism and continued to do what they love. They have proved many wrong and created a new wave of music and artistry for the world to enjoy. As the time goes on they are steadily breaking down more barriers and finally getting to be freely and truly themselves. We have seen this with Suga when he went on tour as Agust D and now with J-Hope on his tour and his new music.

The plagiarism accusations were just pathetic. They were reaching for anything just to bring them down.
