I just… lol just some clarification on some things. Ok so like in the Korean industry, they elect a leader for a reason. In situations where there is only time for one of them to speak the leader will do so. It is 100% not only in America that the other members have spoken to accept an award. lol you guys haven’t watched many of the awards acceptance speeches for Korea. There are videos of RM literally trying to force some of the other members(usually Jimin, V and Jungkook) to speak and they were kind of nervous. There is a video of RM trying to get Jungkook to speak and this man was trying to run away lol😭.It was just funny watching Jody get mad about something thats so wrong lol. Alsooo, y’all didn’t watch the right award speech for the performance you just watched. This performance was in 2018 and the award you watched was for 2016 when BTS won their FIRST big award, which is probably why it was just RM that spoke. This reaction turned me off. The comment that "the men don't use the fan" is just so prejudiced and chauvinistic of you. And to insinuate that it is why given to Jimin needs to stop. The back-up dancers holding the fans were also males. So would their sexuality be questionable as well? The homophobic, prejudiced comments needs to stop. It is really mind-blowing. Not everything has to be gender-specific. Jhope, Jimin and JK were presenting traditional Korean dances and were wearing Korean hanbok. Please educate yourself coz ignorance is not an excuse to continue to be negative, prejudice and homophobic.

Also, Idol is largely based on a combination of Korean culture and with some South African instrumental and dance style. Not Indian.

Just a quick note, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook were wearing traditional Korean attire and bringing attention to Korean tradition/dances/imagry and such as a pride point for this last performance. That is what also makes it extra iconic.

Yes…a lot actually Like I said the award speech for the very performance you watched, other members spoke. I linked the video. They get multiple awards in the award shows so sometimes what they do is a few will speak when they get one award and when they get another the ones who didn’t speak for the other award would do so.

Hey Jody & E-man great reaction, I love this performance although 2019 is my all time fave just to clarify a few things at this point in time JHope, Jimin & JK are the dance line so they got the solo performances, Idol was a response to the haters in S Korea that were criticizing BTS by calling them too westernised so every image and dance move is very much Korean e.g. the first scene where Hobbie does a Drum dance which is a traditional Korean performance u can c all the ladies around him wearing traditional Korean clothes called Hanbok BTS were also wearing Hanboks but in a modern twist, next the Fan dance by Jimin also traditional Korean, then the Mask dance also Korean and lastly the part u called Iraqi thats traditional Korean from the performers instruments to their clothes all Korean, even the part that looks like Beyonce's Single ladies dance move is a part of a Korean Traditional Dance ... btw it was funny how E-man said only ladies dance with fans while all Jimin's backup Fan Dancers were men 😂 even the bunny on the moon that u can c in both the Music Video and here shown on screen while Jin is singing its from a Korean Folklore story: a bunny lives on the moon making medicine that can make ppl immortal or something like that great reaction I enjoyed it and loved ur views on it its funny how the cultures of the world are so diverse and similar at the same time 💜💜💜 lots of love as usual 💜💜💜💜

Sometimes all the members speak at award shows, sometimes they don’t. I think a lot of it has to do with timings—like some award shows give them like a minute to say something, so they end up giving it to Namjoon, partly because he’s the leader. But if they have more time on stage to give an expectancy speech, more of the members will speak. 💜 love ur reactions, please could u also react to RUN BTS EP 145-147! Have a god day.

Thank you....RM isn't the person you think he is. They didn't want to speak in the earlier years even though he always tried to push them.

Yes Jody! They take turns speaking when time allows. At first Namjoon spoke mostly in his role as leader, but over time he himself encouraged them so that everyone would lose their shame. At the last awards ceremony in the US, Jin had to take JK off the mic so Tae could speak because time was running out, and it was so funny and emotional to watch after so many years of hiding to avoid speaking. 😅

I really like Eman, but I think he has an extremely narrow-minded view of the world and not everything revolves around what he considers as facts. 😅 There's a big world outside the US and it goes beyond our Western culture.

They don’t want to speak to at the awards shows because they were shy, nervous and avoiding it from the speech but RM is the leader, He is trying to little bit pushing let them speak themselves at the awards shows because they were behind him RM that’s why..I love to see them speak for theirs minds into the awards shows. as a non-westerner not from the US or europe Emans behaviors are very typical of Americans and again as a person entering my 40s soon he looks sounds and feels like a young man couldn't be older then 25 so I would give him room to grow and the fact that the guys are willing to change their minds and watch/listen to music and ppl who arent western is amazing no one is born open minded it takes time and exposure to the rest of the world to grow! give them time and encouragement and they will learn but beat them over the head and they will become defensive thats how ppl are! jungkooks close up of the abs is part of the choreo LOL but if u see him with a tucked shirt it means he is probably not gonna do it lol..in fake love he is suppose to do it twice..they didnt show it the first time but u can hear the audience scream ...also army was doing the fanchant but it wasnt clear to hear..some of their songs have fanchants

@jody As an Indian i could say the animal kind of creatures shown in the award show can be seen in northen parts of india a cultural thing and that can be seen in chinese and koran culture too, Afterall India is a part of asia. But however the music VD of idol nothing is related to India and a quick fact for you before several years ago close to jeason dynasty A Korean prince married a princess from Southern India and there are alot of similarity in the culture because of that.

I always have trouble with the award shows because the mics aren't loud enough over the music compared to their concerts. They were let down with their sound. Everything else is on point but I just wish their mics were turned up and we could hear the songs clearer. Other than that BTS always kill it on stage and show the world who is tha best!
