In the documantery "Road to D-Day" Yoongi said he wrote this song as a comfort for his Juniors. The younger artists that look up to him or Bts in general. He wants them to know that it's okay to take a break and that he's going to support theen in having a better path that he had. This song really just shows What an amazing person Yoongi is. I really have learned so much from him and his songs. I twould b e actually amazing if you could react to his whole Album "D-Day" it's just bangers after bangers, only if you have time of course!! Have a great rest of your day/night! :)

Great reaction Jody & Eman!!! this is one of my Ultimate favs it's so comforting the way Yoongis deep voice repeats 'everything will be ok' like he's hugging u and patting u on the back! like the previous comment says this song he wrote to comfort and support other younger artist like TXT , like u said Jody he says what he wished someone said to him he sees himself in their struggle and wants to comfort them, BTS didn't have that! he's such an empath. so Woosang is the guy singing, the guy playing piano is rocker Suga😎 and the old guy at the end u see him shake hands with thats a Japanese pianist called Sachimoto Rakimoto (Not sure of the spelling sorry) Borahae love u guys 💜 💜💜

So, BTS didn't have very many people they could go to for comfort or advice coming up. We recently found out from Nate (American Hustle Life) that SM Entertainment tried to sabotage their come up even back then. They tried to get him to not do American Hustle Life and come to a writer's camp for SM instead. They called BTS a filler group and made it seem they weren't going anywhere. Nate didn't listen, of course, but it just shows the lengths they would go to stop them getting any success. That being said, it's not like BTS could go to artists on those big labels and get advice or encouragement. Yoongi and all of BTS have done their best to be there for younger groups and artist. Yoongi said he wrote this song for his juniors and any upcoming artist with a dream. He wanted to comfort them so they didn't suffer as he had. This is my favorite of his songs by a long shot. It's everything. 💜

Ryuichi Sakamoto was a very famous Japanese composer and he was Yoongi's idol. He composed one of my favorite movies, The Last Emperor. Yoongi was honored to work with him before he died. He actually died before the song came out but his daughter said the song gave great comfort to her and their family after his passing. The singer, Woosung (great voice), is from a band called The Rose. 💜

He's stated that he wrote this song to encourage idols coming up after him to let them know basically that when they feel like nobody else is there for them, he will be there. 💜

I LOVE Woosung's voice. He's from The Rose. They're like a KRock band. Yall should check them out.
