Okay I think it's going to be a long comment, so excuse me, but let me sit down in Emans seat. First off all you're NOT gay. You're attracted to the opposite sex so that already solves it. Maybe you're bi or something like that but not Gay. And also you can be completely straight and still think like that about jimin. Yeah, you're admitting that you would kiss him is a little extreme? I don't know how to say it but it doesn't really mean anything. You said yourself that there's no sexual attraction, you kinda have stronger feelings than a friend..? Like I can confidently say I'm straight but that doesn't mean that I don't find women attractive, I never thougt about kissing one, but I can totally agree when a woman is pretty/attractive etc. Actually I guess if I were you I would go deep within myself and just think? Like I'm not assuming anything and its just a recommendation but maybe it could help you understand it? Because yeah jimin is pretty and beautiful and everything else but he's also still a man and even though I agree with you about the gender stuff it could actually help you clear your mind. I mean we all now how complicated our own mind is and how many things it can suppress, as a shield, coping mechanism etc and maybe it sees jimin as a safe place to let a little of this safety go? But it also could really just mean nothing and you just find jimin ethereal, just like me🤷🏻‍♀️ it's not like I don't sometimes questions if he is real and there is THE jimin effect so it's not like you're alone with this. Everyone who's honest with themselves can agree that jimin is a beautiful human being, looks and personality. I believe you just see it like that too. There was a study a few years ago that watched the regions of people’s brains to better understand human sexuality/attraction. Broadly, they found that pleasure centers in the brains of both men and women light up in response to both other men and women. Women were more likely to find both men and women attractive, of course (like 80% of women), but like 50% of the men also seemed to at least find the occasional man attractive (or at least their brains sat up and paid a lot of attention). I think sexuality is more complicated than we fully understand. Think about Ancient Greece, where it was common for men to have sex with other men, because the prevailing attitude was that ‘you are who you have sex with’ and men who only had sex with women were considered effeminate. People find lots of things attractive. Labels aren’t important.

I agree with you jimin is very welcoming infact in a concert imn LA I have seen a clip where the security gaurd is vibing with the bts song while they are performing and jimin is standing beside him he saw that had a hug smile on his face and hugged him and gave a shake hand and left.

The only thing that makes you gay is being gay and you're not lol and it's not like you're the only one, there are thousand of videos about the jimin effect, so a lot of people, men or women, gay or straight or whatever like him or get mesmerized by him because he is objectively attractive🤷🏻‍♀️ there's nothing you can do about it😂
