I can agree that they could have been saving on budget for this one but not for the August D trilogy. That trilogy is very clearly about his battling inner thoughts and it just wouldn't make sense if someone else played the part of the king or the corrupt cop.

He has talked about it in interview. Yes, it's subliminal but it's a theme throughout the 3 songs. It's clear to me he's saying something by doing it that way, but take it however you wanna take it.

i'm so glad you liked it!! they 100% didn't have the budget back then till around 2016-2017 so all of their budget went into the group and this at the time was just a side project for RM :)

Yoongi talked openly about the trilogy and he didn't do it to save money, it was about his inner struggles with himself and how he had to play many roles in his live for many differents situations, and that's why he created his alter ego agust d and he represents himself in those videos. Whenever you like, I'll send you the link so you can see and understand everything better with its own explanations. I wish you could see their Lives, since most of them have a lot of information about so many of the things you always ask about, and they explain them themselves, especially in the last ones before they go to military service. 😉 Hugs from Panamá!

Word. I've been waiting for you guys to get into more of his old solo stuff. Don't get me wrong I love Suga but I feel like people be sleeping on RM as a producer/song writer. He & Suga both but I know RM is recognized by the Korea Music Copyright Association as the second most-credited songwriter in history. (Korea Music Copyright Association's history) I feel like he doesn't get the flowers he deserves. I don't mean from you guys, I'm talking in general.
