To play devils advocate, I think they never stopped talking to each other ,and seeing each other on leave so there wasn't much distance. RM said they all got closer when they were all in the military. Also, I think leaving the military is a really overwhelming thing, celebrity or not. I think it's intrusive they had cameras in their faces right away but, even the company couldn't control that their release dates were released when they went in. I think it will probably take a year to get back to their old selves like Jin he seems back now I think he struggled too.

i recommend you watch RM's weverse live that he did after! He actually had a really hard time in the military as he was put into one of the hardest/less developed units. He developed bad insomnia and he said that he has a fear of sleeping now and even had to go to a psychiatrist during the military to get sleeping pills (he's slowly waning himself off of them now and says that he's already feeling like things will be better now that he's out! definitely! Jin was just as quiet on the weverse live right after he got out- and it was probably so tiring for them to go through so much media in a day right after a year and a half of being so in line with the military. I'm so glad that theyre back to being goofy and everything at JHopes concert lol

Hey Jody, I definitely understand what you and eman are saying about them looking uncomfortable, but see it this way they went through 18 months of having no cameras in their faces having no sort of contact with fans so of course, when they got discharged, they looked severely uncomfortable and shy, and also some fans showed up there when they wasn’t supposed to be there because BigHit had released a statement a couple days before they had actually got discharged basically telling fans to not show up to the discharge site or the military base for the safety of the members, but they was there anyway, so it was probably just overwhelming for them all , but I do highly recommend that you watch RMs live. He spoke a lot about his experience in the military. He went through a very, very tough time and he suffered a lot, he said ,so I highly recommend you to watch the live. And you will kind of like understand what RM was feeling in why he was looking the way he looked when he did that live with me. He was basically happy to be home and he had got emotional at the discharge site 💯

I think it was mainly nerves getting to them. They haven’t been in front of this many cameras in a while. The members saw each other on vacations, called each other, nd have a group chat so there’s was no bug reaction to seeing Jin because they always see that mf. Y’all should deffff react to rms live, he went a little deep and explained his emotions while in the military and being back

I mean they haven’t been in front of a camera for a year and a half. Even jimin n jk was shy. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal I feel like a lot of the times people forget they are real people really emotions lol of course they’re gonna be shy. I’m so glad they’re back, though shout out to all the armies who stayed fans throughout the whole enlistment of each member ☺️
