🖤Kamipookie❤️

Such a good song and choreoooo and what the fans were saying was fan chants that all the fans know or at least learn ❤️❤️❤️

Jodys Corner

Thats crazy. Who makes tge "fan chants" up so fast like that. I think Hybe has something to do with it.

🖤Kamipookie❤️

You usually find the fan Chants in fan communities and it is made by big hit, but some of the armies have participated and made a few. There are a few videos and like if you look up BTS fans they’ll pop up. But also just the way I learned was like I listen to the song and then I think about how the fan would go and then usually it goes that way, cause it’s just the point of finding a pause or a dance breaking the song that like you say all their names or some lyrics of the song but sometimes the idols make them to

Keyz J.

He actually wasnt lip syncing ..you can literally hear his voice over the track, maybe it was a bit loud, but even if he was why does that "piss yall off" ? , it's not like he's singing a song that even requires perfect or crazy vocals..this is quite literally about the performance .

Keyz J.

Exactly...people literally put the fan chants out for the people to learn them for these type of shows....in Korea that's literally just how they do it...especially at these music shows.

🖤Kamipookie❤️

Hell yea and I’ve learned all of them so far 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

Glorilla comes from her real name ‘Gloria’. I’m a Glo and a Meg fan so I’m obviously not on the hate train. But I agree with BG4 on everything he said🤷🏽‍♀️ as a black woman I don’t think y’all hate black women, I think y’all’s stance is very much a man’s stance on black women it was my dads stance so I get it but it is what it is

Dcaveeon wells

Also Micheal and Beyonce definitely lip sync every artist do it main reason to protect they vocals when they on tour and have many shows as a Micheal Jackson Stan he definitely lip sync just rarely and Bruno doesn’t lip sync

Jodys Corner

If YOU only care about "the performance" then that's fine. Other people would argue the "Voice" and "Sound" matters more.

Jodys Corner

I knew it was Bighit. It seems very "scripted" and less organic.

Dcaveeon wells

U can choose not to believe it but it’s definitely true u can look it up there’s nun wrong with bts lip syncing cus I listen to all the artists

🖤Kamipookie❤️

They did organize it, but the fans are who basically make it into a thing because usually the company does, but the fans pushes it further so I would still say it’s organic but usually the other type of companies like JYP the fans are more scripted in my opinion

Keyz J.

Not "I" , but literally the purpose of these shows, and you can literally hear the "sound " and his "voice " but yall are arguing that he isn't actually singing in real time. Which brings me back to my original question, why does it even matter especially being that he's not a vocalist.?

K

YESS! MY BIASSS

K

Idk I heard his voice very clearly😭 probably because I’ve listened to a lot of bts live performances and alot of mv I can hear a clear difference

K

Majority of kpop songs have fan chants. It comes out usually a day after the song is released and fans are supposed to chant the lyrics.

Zaria Weber

Hi Jody, so I’m not even gonna fake. I really wish y’all watched the actual choreography video than the live performance is because of the fact that army is singing the live chants in the video. Because it’s low-key cringe that the fans are chanting to this sexual like song so I definitely agree with you there.🤣🤣 but that’s no shade to Army itself, but it’s just cringe in my personal opinion cause I’m here to watch Jhope perform not hear the fans in the background chanting along with the artist 🤣💯

Chia Sano

It is a traditional kpop thing. people learn the fanchants for certain songs so at music shows and such they can support the singers by singing along in a way that makes sense. So no, not organic but also not weird according to Kpop standards. It took me a while to get used to as well and I have been into kpop for decades now. There are sometimes musical guides and everything.

K

It’s a normal thing on these specific programs. If you don’t want to hear fan chants then you shouldn’t really watch live performances from the channels like Mnet and inkigayo. There is another live performance at his concert that’s online but fans still chant the words. It’s not just big hit and hybe this is a thing I wanna say 97% of groups do this exact same thing

BettyB

Fan chants are just a part of music shows lol. It’s not orchestrated by BigHit, though sometimes BigHit does release an official fanchant. Sometimes they don’t and fans will take it upon themselves to write one. It’s a way for fans to feel more involved in the performance - just a cultural aspect of South Korea. If you were to attend one of these shows, another ARMY (a FAN who took it upon themselves not BigHit) would probably approach you in advance with a smile and ask you politely if you wanted to do the fanchant. If you said yes, they would hand you a piece of paper with the chants. This is just another cultural thing - ARMYs will organize things for performances sometimes or will bring free things for other ARMY. When I went to Suga’s concert in Chicago I was given a free goodie bag by another army with a couple of cute stickers in it and a keychain, and another army was giving out goodie bags with a piece of Korean candy and a photo card and ANOTHER was giving out free albums. It’s just a thing. Some fans will make cute stuff to share. For Glorilla, to be honest I had never heard her before this song and don’t know much about her but I thought she did a good job. She gives off a fun cool vibe and I think it worked well. She doesn’t sound like Megan to me, she sounds much more southern. Personally I do think he was singing I hear a lot of differences between this and the original audio but no shade if you heard it differently. Most music shows do edit out breathing before these videos go online and do some sound editing (toning down the sounds of fans, amplifying the voice of the artist, sometimes SM pays them to smooth out any hiccups in the vocals of their artists for the few they have who sing live, etc). It’s just part of the kpop industry. It can give the performance a much less natural sound. If you really want to get to the bottom of it your best bet would be to just find a fancam from someone who was there who recorded it on their phone - I imagine you would hear the original breathing sounds/imperfections, etc (or maybe you wouldn’t, in which case it probably is lip syncing 🤷‍♀️). You could also find a live performance from J-hopes concert - there were thousands of fans and probably TONS of people there in person who would have decent quality recordings.

Jodys Corner

I agree! Imma do dance practices before mvs again.

ZADDYZACC

You guys gonna watch Squid Game: Season 3?

WLM

If they saw the concert footage with that one dancer!!! their chemistry was great!

Zaria Weber

Exactly!! I like the music show performances, but I just feel like the chants just take away from the performances sso I kinda wish they watch his concert footage or either the choreography version of the music videos so they can see the chemistry between the dancers and J Hope 💯
