I did watch the full video and you see where I say you are not doing anything wrong, please remember I been rocking with you for a minute and am not asking you to stop. I am saying that I don't get it because it doesn't feel off to me because I have the privilege of knowing more industry history. You all are coming in learning new things and reacting on the journey. Absolutely no-desire to argue. You opened it for conversation and tone doesn't translate via text so just know there is no accusation and if it feels that way, I can edit it and remove some of the confusion. I have never come at you sideways and have no desire to.

Thank you for reaction 🤍 I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — Jimin is the best dancer in K-pop. He’s the only one who has received official recognition and awards for his dancing — a national award and a presidential one. But even beyond the awards, I became a fan of his because of his dancing. His movements are so graceful and captivating. Jimin never copied anyone — he said it himself: he has something unique, his own signature style and moves. I truly love this artist.

Correct. And learning about Taemin is an amazing and good thing like I said at the end, learning about more groups. I think I am failing to communicate here well and that is okay, I can own it. My response is the asking for conversation about it all, what is still confusing me and etc. These were the questions that are going through my head when watching this video specifically. Yes, you have stated why you are doing this and this video was about far more than just learning about Taemin. I am enjoying the journey, I just get a little thrown off at times. No worries.

G-dragon is not a group but the leader of the group big bang. In which taeyang is a part of that group. Jimin has said that he has been inspired by both taemin and Taeyang in the taemin episode of sutchwita. I think both taemin and Jimin are incredibly dancers that it is hard to compare. Jimin has such elegance and strength in dancing from his contemporary background that it is always amazing to watch him dance. Taemin has such amazing lines and power without being formally trained in any type of dance in which I think is amazing. He debuted when he was 14 with Shinee(pronounced shine-ee) and has proved himself in the industry as an amazing dancer and soloist, outside his already amazing group.

I think Taemins amazing from what I've seen from his music videos but I just can't deny how detailed and passionate Jimin is when dancing and I agree with you Jody I think it shows in that performance! He makes sure each move of the choreography gets to shine fully before moving into the next and each placement seems a lot more intentional rather than transitional

never listen to any bullshit about bts copying/plagarising bigbang because none of it has any actual grounds. bigbang stans do not like bts and they haven’t for many years simply because bigbang used to be the hottest shit in the kpop industry before bts skyrocketed. it’s the same story with exo stans (exo is another boy group that dominated the industry before bts got big). these 2 fandoms were the 2 main ones who lead massive hate trains against bts in their earlier years, prayed on their downfall and tried to sabotage their careers by rallying hate campaigns on social media. it didn’t work, bts still succeeded far beyond their faves and that’s why they’re still salty to this day. if you want more info about the kind of hate trains these fandoms lead, i can tell you more. claims that bts used to/still copy bigbang will never fail to make me laugh lmao. the fact of the matter is, kpop concepts are recycled by the entire industry continuously. bigbang fans claiming that bts copied their faves just because they have the same dyed hair colour or wore the same damn tshirt is low IQ bullshit at its finest. they claimed that tae copied their faves because he had red hair and wore a blue suit as if bigbang were the inventors of fucking hair dye and pastel blue fabric 💀. they claimed that rm copied gdragon because he had the same haircut as him for a short period of time and because he wore the same glasses as him, completely ignoring the fact that bts didn’t have control over their hair at the time and the fact that those sunglasses were a trend internationally at the time and the trend was NOT started by gdragon. i have old snapchats of myself with those glasses as a filter, gdragon did not revolutionise anything by wearing a pair of trending sunglasses and rm did not copy him by wearing them too. even recently a couple weeks ago, some bigbang stan on twitter tried to say that jhope was copying gdragon because they wore a similar outfit and because they walked similarly at a fashion event??? completely ignoring the fact that the outfit jhope wore was actually popularised by BLACK PEOPLE, NOT GDRAGON, and that you can’t plagiarise literal walking lmao. what’s worse is that they call gdragon a “trendsetter” and celebrate his influence over the kpop industry but ONLY when bts are “influenced” by him all of a sudden it’s “plagiarism” and “copying”. they only have a problem with it when it’s bts. it’s not justified, it’s just them being haters. period.

Not sure if you guys knew this but Jimin and Taemin are actually really close friends. Like they hang out on a regular. That's why Jimin showed up to Suchwita when Taemin was on.

taemin’s goated, i’m rocking with e-man heavy rn lol. 😭 but i also do see your points as well jody. i think it all comes down to taemin and jimin both having different dance styles, for me personally taemin is just that guy. self taught, became an idol when he was 14, literally the nation’s treasure, has hundreds of younger idols debut and become idols because of taemin’s dancing and his influence. the way he moves is just something nobody is replicating. he’s covered so many types of dance that shines when he’s on stage. taemin is the best dancer in kpop. i hate seeing them be compared because i love them both and ultimately they BOTH are insane dancers. but i’m forever awed by taemin’s way of expression in dance.
