BTS Rise of the Bangtan chapter 16.mkv

Yeah they've all had bouts of depression. V struggled in 2018 as well as RM. Jin struggled in 2019 and 2020 he wrote his song Abbys about his depression and imposter syndrome. Suga has been depressed since being a teen along with having OCD and social anxiety. I really admire when they talk about it. I also feel bad when they are struggling and they feel they need to hide it.

CL is fluent in English because she spent her childhood living in various international locations. Also not all idols prioritize learning fluent english..and thats ok.

Back then RM did speak English when he had to but as the years went on the members would try to learn things to say for interviews etc. to take the burden off of RM. I think they still have been working on their English a lot more and they have improved just from doing their solo promotions and tours around the world on their own, so we will definately see in 2026 the members more confident when speaking english when they need to. I believe the members that were thinking of leaving in 2017/18 were Jk & V but after speaking with the members and Suga sending them both a long message of love and encouragement they chose to stay. (V talks about the text message he & Jk received from Suga in the 2018 festa dinner party & he also mentioned it on his episode of Suchwita) Jin and Suga also stated that the group considered disbanding in 2018 due to the immense mental and physical toll of their work. (Jin brought it up during their MAMA Artist of the Year speech) RM admitted in 2023 that he had thought about quitting for over two years before the "Permission to Dance On Stage—LA" concert because he was struggling with his passion for art.

I think the RM plagiarism thing was about him taking "inspo" from things or people and not properly crediting them in his works afterwards. It was definately made into a bigger deal than it needed to be because bts from the small company BigHit, were becoming a real threat towards the "big 3" companies and their star groups like Exo etc. Here's what he said in his apology: - "I can’t write music through mere internal stimulation, so I take inspiration from talks with friends, books I like, movies, interviews, and letters from fans. I write the feelings and lines that left an impression on me in notes on my phone. Most are erased or forgotten, but after hearing the criticism today I realized that I was unconscious of the mistakes I made. Without knowing the source and not remembering clearly, I carelessly worked only thinking about having to write songs." - "I will try to contact everyone and claim responsibility to the best of my ability." - "I will become a person who thinks of a creator’s responsibility before thinking about a creator’s difficulties."

But that doesnt sound like plyeah, thwy can just come out and say their struggling WHILE their struggling. Not after the fact. Lots of people can help them get through it.

The school uniform plagiarism thing was absolutely ridiculous because every boy group and even girl group in kpop has had a "school uniform era" in their time. That was just another attempt to devalue bts at the beginning of their career. BTS first three albums were a school trilogy - 2 COOL 4 SKOOL (2013), O!RUL8,2? (2013) & SKOOL LUV AFFAIR (2014). They focused on the lives of young people, covering themes like dreams, happiness, and the pressures of school life.

Hmmm. Who was the person affected? Did the OG owner ever come out?

I think it could be a culture thing too South Korea isn't a country know for talking about mental health that's why they have the highest suicide rate in the world ages 10-25.

RM, Suga, and J-Hope joined in 2010 Jin, Jungkook, and V joined in 2011 Jimin joined in 2012 All the members, except V, were revealed to the public before their debut in 2013 in vlogs and teaser photos etc. V was BTS's "secret weapon" - Big Hit kept him hidden from the public up until just 11 days before their official debut on June 13, 2013.

The Hawaii trip is from Bon Voyage season 2, it's a fun series if you wanted to check it out.

Anyways sorry for all the comments, it's kind of my way of conversing with you whilst watching the video. It's really interesting to hear your opinions on what was going on, it shows you are invested in them as a group and as individuals. I enjoyed this reaction and look forward to seeing the next episode of rise of bangtan. Thanks Jody.
