Fans can get crazy comfortable with them and start spouting a load of hate or unnecessary comments to the members all the time. For example, a couple months ago V posted a picture on weverse where he had a thin moustache because he hadn't shaved and the fans commenting on that picture were so rude. They were telling him to get rid of it, it's disgusting etc. so in the end V deleted the picture and went silent for a while online.

Recently a controversy in Korea just happened, which I think is ridiculous - 'Key' is a member from the kpop group 'Shinee' (the group Taemin is from) and he has had to withdraw from his currently scheduled activities and step down from the programs in which he is appearing on because he was caught up in a "scandal". Basically, through an acquaintance of his, Key visited a hospital and was introduced to a doctor there. She began treating him at the hospital and then later on began treating him at his home. However, it's come to light recently that this woman is not a licensed medical physician and apparently never was. Key has now had to release an apology statement explaining that he "believed her to be a medical physician and with her offering no indication to the contrary". He's "extremely confused and is deeply reflecting on his own lack of awareness". So now from this happening he's been edited out of content that he had previously filmed and he has been left out of group activies on their social media accounts. Basically his company (SM Entertainment) have put him on a hiatus for who knows how long. He has not long just finished a tour in the US and the US fans are begging for him to move to the US and leave Korea for good because of all of this. He can speak English so there will be no language barriers.

V is described as having a natural tan or olive skin tone, a feature he shares with other members like RM and J-Hope, who are generally considered the most tanned in the group. "Whitewashing": Many photos and videos of K-pop idols, are often edited or "whitewashed" (lightened) by media outlets, photographers, and fans to fit the traditional Korean beauty ideal of having very pale skin. This practice often makes V, RM or J-Hope's skin appear much lighter in official media than it is in real life or unedited photos. Colorism in South Korea: Within South Korea, a preference for pale skin (which historically indicated wealth and an indoor lifestyle) over darker skin (associated with outdoor labor) exists, leading to colorism. I HATE the "whitewashing" in korean culture, the members natural skin colour is beautiful and NEVER should be hidden or altered. To me it's healthy and attractive. Looking pale like a ghost is freaky!

Also, Jin has always been self conscious and shy the members have always said that he has a hard time around other people. I think if the cameras weren't on it wouldn't have looked so weird. I think he's afraid of judgment because so much emphasis is put on his looks. He looked rough probably cause he was up gaming and he had been drinking. I love seeing this trio i know I showed you Jin being protective of JK but V is always protective of Jin he's always looked out for him he never let's him talk down on himself ,and would never let anyone disrespect Jin.

The problem with Jin not singing is probably because of the other kpop group fans clipping moments of him singing "out of tune" and putting it online and spreading hate along with it, saying things like; "Bts use autotune", "Look here, bts can't sing" etc. Sadly this happens all the time, every fan group try and put the other kpop groups down in any way possible. Disappointedly, even Army have done this to other kpop groups.

I believe the time they started the live was 2 -3 am in the morning for them. Jin and Jk not wanting to sing anymore was probably more to do with them being tired and tipsy, yes Jin was also feeling insecure about his voice but I don't think it was that deep. Even though they were tipsy and enjoying themselves, I know for sure they can never be super relaxed on live. They are constantly thinking about their image and "doing something wrong" or getting in trouble with the company etc. You can tell when they go silent they are overthinking what next to do or say or not do or say. I have autism so I understand Jody where you are coming from with your opinion on V. I always see a lot of similarities to myself with V. He's always been described as unique individual and an "outside of the box" thinker so he definately could be on the spectrum. He's my bias, so maybe I was drawn too him because we are quite similar. I know with the whole singing situation there was no malice or disrespect from V towards Jin, he was genuinly just having a good time with his hyung and maknae.

Jody, I think you’re wrong about them not being allowed to say they don’t like one of their songs. Jin revealed that they weren’t thrilled about their song “dynamite”. Suga has also said he wasn’t satisfied with how their song “pied piper” came out.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thank you for sahring that with me. Yeah, I didn't wanna come off as rude because its a touchy subject for some people, but I feel much better knowing that you see in V what I see too. It validates my suspicion. I think it is a great thing that V thinks the way he does because a different way of thinking is needed sometimes.

Ikr, just shows the pressure the idols have to face in Korea and the worry of their career ending out of nowhere and reputation being slandered over things out of their control. Just remember what happened to Suga and the scooter incident being blown out of proportion and him nearly getting cancelled for it.
