yes, that was jimin’s dad’s cafe

❤️

Putting bias aside, anyone can look it up, Jimin is literally the king of Korea. He is deeply loved by the Korean public. His songs are still ranking number one on Spotify Korea, listened to not only by his fans but also by non-fans, even a year or more after their release. He consistently ranks first in idol brand reputation, surpassing both male and female idols, a ranking that reflects positive influence and public impact in Korea. In addition, surveys conducted among non-fans have repeatedly placed Jimin as the most beloved idol in Korea. That alone speaks volumes about his popularity. I’ve been a fan since 2015, and I’ve never seen an impact like Jimin’s in Korea. Especially in surveys targeting people who are not into K-pop, he has always ranked number one. Anyone can search this up and verify it.

Thank you so much Jody for this reaction I truly enjoyed it 🥹

- JIMIN's 13 tattoo is for his birthday (october 13th) - the 7 is a friendship tattoo for the 7 members of bts (all the members have a small number 7 tattoo somewhere on their body; JK's is behind his ear, SUGA's is on his tricep, etc.) - the "nevermind" on his ribcage is the title/lyrics of a bts song written & composed by SUGA in 2015. the meaning of the song is essentially to keep fighting despite the challenges you face because you are too young to give up: "nevermind, there are lots of things in the world that you can't control, nevermind, if you feel like you're going to crash then accelerate even more, you idiot!"

13 On his wrist, representing his birthday (October 13) and BTS's debut date (June 13, 2013). 7 On his finger, signifying the seven members of BTS and their unity, a shared tattoo among all members. NEVERMIND Originally, it was a temporary tattoo that Jimin wrote on his body for a 2014 performance, but it later became a permanent tattoo. Jimin has never spoken about it publicly, nor did he say that the tattoo is from a BTS song, since we saw it on him temporarily before the BTS song was released. We don’t really know, but it’s clear that it’s something personal to him. YOUNG FOREVER This tattoo is inspired by the BTS song “Young Forever,” and Jimin has said that he really loves this song. The moon tattoo is on his back. Jimin is well known for his love of the moon and often shares pictures of it. The Youth tattoo hasn’t been talked about much by Jimin, but it is also a word inspired by a BTS song. In fact, all of Jimin’s tattoos have beautiful meanings, and he carefully chooses their placements. He never gets a tattoo without meaning, and the locations are truly special.

There was a nationwide public opinion survey in Korea by Gallup Korea, and Jimin was: The first male idol to top Gallup The first idol to top Gallup back-to-back

When security plans are created by the city government to ensure safety in his hometown.Thousands of fans come to Busan and his father's coffee every year. JIMTOBER is no joke

I think it definitely depends where you look for the statistics but BTS are always top of the list when it comes to popularity in Korea. It definitely fluctuates with who is the popular member at the time but it's mostly the maknae line (Jimin, V & JK) that are at the top of the lists when you look at the stats. Also last year because J-hope & Jin had a great year with their tours and song releases they were definitely top of the lists also. Other artists would make the list like Blackpink, Taemin, G-Dragon, IU, Stray Kids, Seventeen etc.

In general, they are BTS. Individually, however, Jimin is widely recognized as the most popular idol in South Korea. While other members—especially the maknae line—are also highly ranked, and idols from other groups appear on the list, Jimin consistently leads it. He is widely known as Korea’s IT Boy, being the only idol to top this ranking for 35 consecutive months and 56 months overall.

Jodys Corner

does that list has biases? or is it across all stars?

Jodys Corner

wow! that is gfreaking great! They're supporting jimin's dad

Jodys Corner

thanks for this/ NGL, I like the idea of the "7" tattoo. The Nevermind tatt has me intrigued..... Who is the special person that probably knows what that tattoo means???

Jodys Corner

interesting.... we have a meaning here. Did Jimin say what the nvermind meant?

Layan

It is not a biased list at all. Jimin tops the Brand Reputation Ranking, which is officially registered as a trademark with the Korean Intellectual Property Office and is legally protected. This ranking does not evaluate artists only; it also includes major corporations and public institutions. It is considered highly important in Korea and cannot be underestimated. Because of its credibility, it receives significant attention from major companies, as it is used to identify and evaluate the popularity of a company, program, or artist within South Korea. To this day, Jimin continues to extend his record as the only idol to top this ranking for 35 consecutive months and 56 months overall.

Honestly, I’m intrigued too. A lot of fans assume the tattoo is inspired by a BTS song, but Jimin has never said that himself. It’s just speculation. Like I mentioned, he had the Nevermind tattoo temporarily even before the song was released, back in 2014, while the BTS song came out at the end of 2015. He only made it permanent in 2018, and since then he’s never talked about it or linked it to the song.

i don’t think he ever said 100% that it’s from the song but the song is the most obvious thing that it could be referencing. although, since he hasn’t said: maybe it is, maybe it isn’t, maybe it’s a combination of multiple meanings and the song is only one of them. it started as a temporary tattoo in their rookie years (before the song came out) and then he got it as a permanent tattoo years later (after the song came out) so whatever meaning he assigned to it back then must’ve stuck with him as well.

Yes that's Jimins dad and his cafe 'ZM-illennial' in Busan! I wish I can visit it one day! 💕
