He said Rhaegal. The Baratheon's have had familial ties with the Targaryens for a while. The first Baratheon was half brother to Aegon the conqueror and his sisters. Then a few marriages. Balerion is the name of the dragon. Baelor has the dark hair because he has taken on the traits of his mother who is Dornish. While his brother Maekar takes on the traits of their father. Maekar is actually mentioned in the first season by the blind Targaryen on the wall.

It’s understood this season is short but I was invested in the other projects from the jump, the amount of exposition in that freaking theatre and campground slow down my engagement to where I’m just flat out bored and side eyeing, I don’t care about the protagonist, his master, or the names the characters reference because they don’t mean anything to me, they haven’t done nothing to make me root for them. Egg is the only saving grace but that’s not saying a lot. Nonetheless here hoping it gets better but not expecting much. I retract my statement about egg.

No. Only thing interesting to me is I know what some of these characters are for the main characters in Game of Thrones. It was good to read, but watching this is boring. Should have left it where it was as a book

I also think you remember the name Baelor because the sept is called Baelors Sept. But it is not named after this Baelor but a different Baelor who was king before he was born. But a lot of people were mentioned from here on the original show. Only thing is do we remember it.
