Yeah Fossoway sold himself for a lordship. They really just skipped on it a little and just showed a little of his unscrupulous nature in the first episode. But there is a back story on why he sold himself. The Fossoways were once Lords but lost their lordship and lowered to a landed knight house. Basically knights who had land and a keep. The Fossoway's have been trying to get their lord status back for a while and this became his opportunity to be one to get it back. And he only joined Duncan initially to gain notoriety and glory

I don't like how they are portraying the Baratheon. And even in the behind the scenes they even said they wanted this guy to have some of Renly in him. And they have not shown why he is really called the Laughing Storm. In this show they just show him dancing and singing and laughing. Showed none of his combat prowess like in the book. In the book Duncan never spoke to Baratheon. Only saw him in the tourney beating opponets helms in and laughing. Egg got him to join Duncans Seven and that was the first time they spoke. And he joined because he wanted to bloody Prince Maekar. But this was a ok episode the fact joke through away the seriousness to me also.

Im not gonna lie I love house targaryen so seeing brothers and cousins like this is hitting for me. As far as the show, how they end this season will be really important to me. They have potential right now but they can fumble it easily

This what we get when we stay faithful to the books unlike trash of the dragons, except the goofy parts this ep was a solid 9/10 . The dialogue, Scenery , acting and score was on point this episode. I predicted you would give it a B at best tho lol iknow you too well.

The sad thing is when you start to dislike something its very hard for you to like it again, its like its a hard uphill for you. This episode was more ''game of thrones'' than any of the episodes in house of dragon, if those first episode wasnt shit i think you would give this episode an A+
