What makes BTS worth the support and accolades they get is the hardwork and passion they put into their craft. From day 1 they have always stood out to the rest of the kpop groups. Their honest love for music and their desire to be better artists is what keeps ARMY by their side supporting their music. They tell stories through their songs and they create music from the heart, they are not just releasing songs for the likes. They want to create memories and produce positive messages for the world through their songs and that's what really gets through to ARMY that look beyond just their looks and english hit songs. Through all the content they have created, new ARMY members can look back at old content and see the hardwork they have put in from day 1 and the progress they have made to get to where they are today. Each member brings something different to the group which makes them stand out to the rest of the kpop groups. Each members character and work ethic plays a part. I think ARMY are powerful and passionate when it comes to BTS and want to protect them and give them everthing they deserve. They definately carry BTS at times but I don't believe that it's undeservingly of BTS to have them do that. It's the same as Beyonce and her fans 'The Beyhive' or Justin Bieber and his fans 'the Beliebers' or Taylor Swift and her fans 'the Swifties'; all these fanbases want their artists to succeed and get all the accolades they deserve, it just so happens that ARMY has become a huge fandom at this moment in time and has shocked the world with how powerful they can be.

Yes, every song of theirs isn't the best, ofcourse not. You can tell when you look at the listening figures of their songs what songs are selling better than others. I hate to think that with ARMY being so dominant and rooting for BTS it is taking away from the talent and hardwork that BTS puts in. I would like to think that ARMY stays true to the truth and backs up a song or an album because they truly believe it is worthy of praise. Being an artist in a tough industry they need to learn through the process of accolades and criticisms, they need to know what works and what doesn't to continue to succeed. Hopefully that can continue to happen for them more positively in the future, without the shadow of doubt that a huge fandom like ARMY casts on their true capabilities.

I am ARMY but I also support plenty of other kpop groups with great passion also. I don't like to see other ARMY members putting other groups down or using BTS' success to overshadow another groups hardwork. There were a lot of kpop groups that inspired BTS themselves to become an idol and there were groups that worked alongside them during their rookie years that they admired and cared for also. For example, the kpop group; SHINee, was a huge influence on BTS, V mentioned in an interview in 2023 that he loved listening to SHINee growing up. Jimin is great friends with Taemin from SHINee and V is also friends with Minho from SHINee.

I'm late to this but when u guys are talking about not liking the fanchants n waving the army bomb u a grown man...I dont care who is around me I'm going to chant the loudest n proudly wave my army bomb 😉 I'm 40 n i don't care lol..they gave us fanchants to do so im doing it..n it's not only bts with fanchants other groups have them too..
