Some candid thoughts were layed out. What did Suga mean when he said BTS could NOT work together?? there was definitley some drama between the boys back then.

About the whole they couldn’t work together before the army and had to do solo projects,my thought on that were that they couldn’t work together because they all went to the military at different times so it wouldn’t make sense to make a group album when the group can’t be together, I don’t necessarily think they had a big fight or anything like that.

Mani

Also bts started run bts 2.0 and they have two episodes out and I think u guys will like them there really funny

Kadian Stampp-Thomas

They couldn't work together because they were going to the army; some went before the others, so they could not work as a group until now.

Chlo

"we all went solo because we couldn't work in a group at the time." - this was nothing to do with drama. This is about their military. As soon as the Busan concert was over Jin joined military in December and so they began working on their solo work because they could not and would not do anything as a band without any member missing.

They've always had arguments in the past with eachother, V isn't the only one in the group that's argued with the members. They've talked about plenty of arguments in the past that, for example, JK threw a banana at J-hope when they were arguing over food, Jimin and Jk argued during a dance practice and Jimin stormed off home walking in the rain, Suga got mad at RM and ended up throwing a shoe at him. They talk about these moments along with the dumpling incident and laugh about it because it was stupid, brotherly arguments that any family living together would have.

Chlo

I don't believe any of them have had thoughts of going solo, they all love being a part of bts. They feel more comfortable and perform better together. Staying together as a group is their priority. From interviews recently they've explained that also; Jin - “It’s less of whether our solo albums do better or the group albums do better. We just love doing group promotions more.” Suga - He has expressed a desire to keep performing together even in their 60s, 70s, or 80s Jimin - "BTS is the most important to me" He cannot imagine a life story for himself without the members. He has stated that his only dream is to make the team last for a very long time, even jokingly saying, "Until I can barely move". RM - The group is his "second family" and that the members are "unbreakable". He has stated that BTS is his number one priority. J-Hope - Compared the members to a "vinyl record" that increases in value over time and has expressed a desire to stay with them for a long time. V - Humorously dismissed the idea of leaving the group, stating, "If anyone was that shameless, I would hit them". He noted that solo careers helped strengthen their individual egos, which will actually benefit the group's future work. Jungkook - Frequently expressed deep, emotional longing for the stage, particularly during periods of separation from his bandmates or when reflecting on his dedication to performing.

V caters to the ARMY as much as any other member of bts does. I don't see what the problem with that is either? They are showing love and appreciation to their fans/supporters, which is what an artist needs to do with their community. The relationship/bond that BTS has created with their fans is one of the biggest driving forces behind their success. Also I have to disagree with you about V having a slight bit of arrogance. In Jimin's words "he's the most down-to-earth guy out of us". I don't believe any of the members are arrogant to be honest.

Thanks as always Jody for the reactions. Have you seen the recent videos of Suga lately he looks so happy smiling from his eyes, laughing, he looks happy and healthy. I am so happy for him because we all know he had to fight to get to that. Also, Into the sun is my favorite song from the album that is Jin and Jimins song in my opinion. It sounds really great live better than on the album.

Kimberley

Suga said they make sure to fight because it's bad to hold stuff back he talked about it recently during the epik high show on YouTube.

Chlo

It's healthy to have these little disputes and it's what happens within a family dynamic.

LSCOTT

Hey Jody, I amglad you are watching all the interviews. I think you have to watch all interviews they did during this comeback not just rolling stone, because alot of stuff may or may not make interviews. Just like the documentary you cant fit 2 months into 2 weeks and Im sure they didnt even get the beginning because Jin wouldnt be there. That being said Yes RM did alot but the boys did help, they all took part. RM is more involved because he is the main writer but SUGA produces. The solo was because of military guys, Jin left 1st then Jhope. They werent mad lol They decided they have to have all 7 be there to work in the group so this was a good time to work on solo while each was waiting to enlist. Jin left Dec 2022, Jhope left april 2023, SUGA left sept. 2023 and RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook left Dec 2023. So they could all be back as soon as possible

LSCOTT

Also, I am sorry yall dont like the album but I actually love it. To me this is early BTS hip hop era, i feel the only difference is Rap line raps arent has long and yes it can be repetative. This album received an all kill on billboard and stayed at number 1 for weeks on billboard albums. That being said to me they just returned to their roots. But please listen to other interview beside this one to feel in much needed information. RM has credits on 13 tracks so yes every song, Suga has credits on 11 track, Jhope has credits on 10, Jungkook has credit on 4 tracks, V has credits on 2 tracks, and Jimin has credis on 2 tracks, Jimin actually composed and primarily wrote " they dont know about us" and he also helped wiht "Into the Sun" Also please stop speculating lol they boys love each and get along but yes just like family they do occasionaly argue and disagree but not like you imagine it lol.

Jodys Corner

Yeah, I will be watching all the rolling stone interviews and other as well. I have to catch up. Hooefully a new MV is coming soon. Crossing fingers that it is "into the sun"

Jodys Corner

JIN'S part is my favorite from Into the Sun! Jin has started to bring me joy. Ngl, when Suga said he has no more negative feelings inside, I almost started to cry. (Held them back successfully this time!) It was instantly, shockingly impowering to hear him say that so casually... I want that for myself.

LSCOTT

Yes, that will be a good MV. Tell Eman dont hate on Into the Sun, Your baby daddy was the one who did the vocoder on the beginning vocal lol. He like destorted sounds, thats also Jimin in the beginning of they dont know about us. If you listen to both of his albums he has used some type of distorted vocal lol. Thats Jimin being unique and different. I love him hes my bias

Jodys Corner

Never said that V catering to Army was a problem. Idk where you got that it was a problem from.

Chlo

My mistake, just in the context you were talking about it, it sounded a bit negative. 😕 Apologies for misunderstanding. 👍🙂

Chlo

Looking forward to more reactions soon! 👍💜🙂

Chlo

Awesome!

Peachy

Arirang was hella mid especially since they were on a tight schedule and wanted to get an album out as soon as possible, this is the first ever mid album by BTS in my opinion but since they’re starting to completely change their sound it makes sense this 1st album back is so.. mid.. lol, too many hands on deck it was experimental with a lack of depth, some may argue “oh they went back to their roots with rap this is old BTS” old BTS is 100x better than this album, THE DARK & WILD ALBUM THEY MADE IN A GARAGE during the American Hustle life era is 100x better than Arirang bro, anyways I’m looking forward to the sophomore album it’s definitely gonna be better than this 👏🏽

Jodys Corner

Facts spoken, Peachy poo! Old BTS is better, this album was mid probably because they tried so many different sounds to find a new identity or whatever.... they now will go in!
