Watched this on its initial release and out of mind thereafter, as a second viewing I must give props to the choreographed fights… they’re on point. I was very entertained. On to the main entree.

Thank you for this Jody. Means a lot. I’d give this overall trilogy a C or C-. I’m biased because LOTR is the GOAT. Freak 4 comparing it to John Wick. Dark Knight I get but these trilogies can’t compare to LOTR. Stop the cap. It won 17 Oscar’s for a reason. It’s an A+++ trilogy. And this trilogy? By Peter Jackson also with my expectations? I was let down. We all were. Yes George RR Martin is a hoe. He got Valyrian Steel from LOTR mithril. They are both rare and the strongest metals in their universes. Very limited supply. Remember Strider, remember Balin and where a lot of characters from this trilogy left off. Also that sword Sting Bilbo got. And his mithril shirt. Funny how Thorin gave that to him when he or his nephews could’ve used it. Considering they all got stabbed to death. That mithril shirt is hard as fuck! Thanks again Jody. Much love.
