I enjoyed this show. It’s alright. It ends with a movie actually. You may like but it won’t be one of the GOATS. And no Jody. Don’t watch Vikings. I know you to well. You may or may not enjoy the first half of the series but the second half will quickly piss you off. And its sequel series Vikings Valhalla is garbage. Had potential but they f it up.

NO! Bad writing during the latter half of the series episodes. Once likeable characters are gone or do stupid things. Or are involved in stupid things. Just no. But I’m down for a reaction. It’s funny when you get mad sometimes man…”why do you think I came all this way”…pffft 🤣

I enjoyed the last kingdom not the greatest show but still tight, can't see how Vikings is better but we'll see. I will say the show did not explain the situation well at the end. Uhtred and his adopted family lived in a small village not with the main Viking army. It gets better, a lot shows first episode sucks but I understand

If you are gonna start watching Vikings just know that it is a historical fiction story, 50/50 true and myth, with heavy emphasis on the viking faith of the Aseir gods, so expect alot of paganism and Christianity bashing since its from their culturally point of view. The overall writing is okay at best, but it makes up with memorable characters, cool battle sequences and philosophical dialgue with certain individuals. Unfortunately it kind of does fall off in the halfway point but you can be the judge of that.
