Im ngl they had me in season 1 because I love Targaryens and I liked the story in fire and blood book but the show is just so bad. Ik yall dont like book knowledge but Jace died for a really good reason in the book that made him goated for the impact it made in the future. Ts here is a disappointment and my last straw, Im done following this show

I actually forgot about this show. Actually dgaf. It’s boring, poorly written, full of MESSAGE, and woke. Lore breaking also. Did you know House Velaryion isn’t supposed to be black? If they are then Targaryen and Baratheon at this point should be also. All 3 houses mixed recently and will continue to do so in the future! To keep it short. Viserys and Daemon should be half white and half black. Head of house Baratheon also. So much made up talking about nothing. This episode was alright just like beginning of season 2 but it will go downhill and be poorly written I’m sure. It’s gotta be since they’ve stretched this to 4 seasons last I heard. This isn’t supposed to be that long of a war.

Honestly, Jace and Baela were doing an excellent job as a tag team then outta nowhere like an RKO, Rhaena shows up with a dysfunctional, psycho dragon and starts firing literal accidental friendly fire left and right. BTW, its Vhagar, not Vermithor

Exactly. Book was so much better written. Made sense. No women pandering with all the message of why can’t they just trust us and why can’t we rule too? It was more the opposite in the book. Showed why women couldn’t rule. Lore was accurate in the book. Aemon wasn’t trying to bang his mommy. No trans or someone beating up Corlys. Garbage. Stuff exaggerated in the show heavily and overall just not written good.

Love BG4 but he has to put his pride aside and allow E Man to be in these reactions. I know E man is pure trash but when it comes to these reactions the dynamic between you 3 makes it better. We got you 4 we know how you feel, but don’t let the way you feel come at the expense of allowing us to laugh more at eman. (Side note I hope sadd can pop up for few episodes)

Rhaenyra now has lost 2 sons now and it's definitely his fault for not listening. As for Sheepstealers owner, I know she wanted to help, but she clearly had minimal control over Sheepstealer so what made her thought he would listen to her in a heat of the battle? She's gonna probably get blamed for that sons death. 1:16:29 Jodys reaction to Sheepstealer thug mentality. 😂. That boy was spinning the block on all of them. This was B+ overall and this is already better than Season 2.

Very good episode overall. Biggest issue here was jace commanding the queensguard and the queensguard actually obeying. In the books and shows so far that makes literally no sense. A kingsguard will not obey anyones command above their king/queen. Instead of thinking of a clever way to make sure rhenyra doesnt fight at the gullet. They just lazily wrote some bullshit. Overall though this show is better than most things out there so am still going to gladly watch. Great reaction as always jody.

All spectacle, no substance. A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms proves that great storytelling doesn’t need big spectacles. They should take notes, but I guess it’s too late.

Yeah, Jace doesn’t lock away his mother in the books. He goes out to war to save his brother from the Triarchy, and that’s how he dies. Compared to that, his death in the show had no substance or meaning. It felt like he died simply because the plot needed him to.

Very true. That is def one of the dumbest things I’ve seen on this show in awhile. Still this is part of a Song of Ice and Fire Universe so I want to hold it to a higher standard. I don’t though. And that’s a shame. Took reading the book and doing deep dive reflection of season 2 and the showrunner to recognize this show is cooked. Turn that brain off and smile jackass! 🫏 🤪

Oops as in should’ve been made by competent writers also. Would’ve loved if the show start from leaving old Valyria and continued through the 300 years of the Targaryen dynasty. Or to Dunk and Egg (AKOTSK show).
