This is why I will never identify as ARMY. It's a toxic fanbase. Not all of army is bad, but often whole limbs are cut off to save the body. "One bad apple spoils the whole bunch" kinda thing.

Leave CG and BTS alone! They can do whatever TF they wanna do!

It's been a mad couple of days. I've been so annoyed at "Army". I've been ignoring and biting my tongue from the nonsense that the so called "ARMY" have spouted online. It's absolutely ridiculous. You would think that RM & Hobi committed a crime the way people have reacted. One girl filmed herself having a full on meltdown, crying and saying how dissapointed she was in them and then the next day she was at their concert. It's all performative!

I am an ARMY, and it truly saddens me that there are fake fans who call themselves ARMY but try to dictate how the boys should behave. The genuine ARMY fanbase is beautiful and organizes wonderful projects; they respect and look out for the boys, helping them gain ever-greater recognition. In Brazil, for instance—where I’m from—the fanbase supports various campaigns and engages in social causes, such as helping abandoned animals; they even provided significant aid during the recent natural disaster in the country's south. That is the true spirit of the ARMY fanbase. Whether they simply admire BTS's work or actively support the boys—streaming their music and voting in awards shows—these are the fans I admire and count myself among. I would never consider people who call themselves ARMY but try to mold the boys' behavior to fit their own moral standards to be true fans. Unfortunately, many fans act as if they own the artists, believing they can dictate who the boys should be and how they should act. Only foolish people think the boys don't listen to CB; they’ve played the music during livestreams, mentioned references to the songs, and have listened to them since their trainee days. No one has any business interfering in their personal lives; I just want to see them happy and give back to them, because that is what they do for me every single day. Sorry for the long message; I just wanted to express that I don't consider those people to be real ARMYs. The silver lining is that the boys received an outpouring of love at the concerts following that incident.

You can’t call yourself “army” and behave the way some of these people have been behaving. You can’t dictate to grown men who they can and can’t listen to based off of your own personal opinion or beliefs. It has really pissed me off the way they have been talking about RM and Hobi and their “disappointment”. BTS as a group has never hid the fact that they listen to Chris Brown and like him as an artist so why all the uproar now.

So, I am not mad at RM and Jhope, and I am not going to cancel them , they are grown ass men who have a right to listen to who they want to, but I dont like Chris Brown and I don't listen to his music ,but that's my individual right I am not forcing that on anybody else. I personally as a woman don't want to support someone who historically abuses woman, I know we are not going to agree and that's ok. What I find gross are the ppl complaining about it and then going to the concert that's two faced.

Yeah, what CB did was trash, but them trying to hold a 17 year ood grude on a mistake that was made that long ago is excessive. You have the right to not want to support him. These ARMY are taking it too far though. Its not that serious imo
